The basic aim of this management is toattain efficient fulfilment of customers demand, create value for customers, enhancecompany’s responsiveness and aid in financial success of the company. The paper alsohighlights on the relationship between e-commerce and e-business. The benefits that TescoPLc gains from innovations and developments in e-business are also reflected in this report.The practice that Tesco applies in logistics and the benefits gained from it is also elucidatedin this study.Logistics management of Tesco Plc enhance competitivenessTesco Plc is one of the UK’s biggest food retailers with more than 6553 stores aroundthe globe. This company is the third and ninth biggest retailer in terms of profit and totalrevenues in the globe. The range of product that this company produces has grown in rapidway for the last few years. It has more than 30,000 suppliers those who provide high qualityservice level within specified time (McKinnon et al. 2015). Tesco plc defines their mainpurpose is to drive their consumers value for gaining their loyalty. In order to achieve theirloyalty, the company focuses on the needs of the customers and their distribution process.Planning as well as controlling the distribution of the organization’s huge range of productfrom their suppliers to the stores has been one of their logistics.
