and gain profit extensively. The organisations are required to implement the system for
collecting, processing, storing as well as sharing data. Earlier, these particular businesses
require significant time as well as resources. This report intends to discuss the issues faced by
the Amazon Company and suggest the most appropriate solution for eliminating the issues.
The detailed description of the issue has been provided in this report and then the impact of
the problem on the organisation has been provided. Lastly this report concludes with an
appropriate conclusion for the report.

In the last two decade, the company Amazon has become significantly popular among
the common people and it has become the foremost preference of the people who intend to
execute online shopping. This company is the American multinational E Trade company and
it has become the most popular online retailer, a service provider along with offering the
services of efficient cloud computing (Kantor and Streitfeld 2015). Presently the company is
mainly emphasising on the two major sectors of integration that includes the Information
system as well as customer relationship management to allow the improved growth of the
business additionally. Presently the company is utilising each perspective of information
technology for the increasing the business in various sectors. For gaining the ability of
improved serving of customers, the company is adopting each element as well as the
fundamentals of information system (Ritala, Golnam and Wegmann 2014). The software that
is primarily used by the company allows them in attaining as well as attracting the consumers

as well as the market with the availability of the strongest coverage within the fundamentals
of information system, which includes the support of the process and the operation, improved

organisation requires an effective warehouse because it helps in saving information that is
concentrated initiating with various external, operational, and the various databases that are
required by them.
Description and impact of the problem
Even though the Amazon Company is considered as a growing organisation in the
present business environment, it still has some issues that are required to be considered and
analysed for ensuring the positive development of the organisation. In the recent times, the
most prominent issue in the organisation is the managing pace with the growth of the e-
commerce industry (Galloway 2017). It has been observed in the organisation that the
inefficient working of the centralised platform in the organisation is the main reason for the
inefficiency of this organisation. The employees of the organisation do not possess the
updated information for working accurately in real time. When the employees need
significantly updated information to function appropriately, they have to wait for several
hours to obtain the real time information regarding any aspect. In the online retailing service,
there are several issues that are present in the businesses (Picq 2016).
The significant simplicity of using online shopping allows the customers in searching
for the most suitable prices instead of remaining loyal to any particularr vendor. It is
significantly tough to earn the loyalty of the vendors several times when there is high
competition. The improved customer experience might or might not go overlooked (Correll et
al. 2016). Moreover, if any customers of the organisation has had any bad experience, they
are certain in raising the concern that in turn might affect online ratings. A significantly
