Question 1.1)
Solution) At present, I am responsible for care provider in a large UK based domiciliary
organisation. In addition, I am undertaking training management of 30 learner’s members. It
includes various step ways of training such as induction, on the job training, supervisions
done on quarterly basis and yearly appraisals. To get the training in an efficient way, I ensure
to do necessary practice on proactive basis such as making all the relevant materials
available. I also do check that all safety and health requirements should be met and thus make
this communicate during the attendance of learner. In the end, it ensures suitable behaviour
and admiration for others.
Many types of learning styles are employed in aid of training such as social and logical,
auditory, visual and also the assessments are in the form of debate and quizzes. In last, it is
ensured that a workbook finished by learners is documented as a sign of evidence.
To encourage and appraise the work of learners, feedback is made to the learner with using of
Petty model “Medal and Mission” as it helps in further development of the learner
(Fortunato, 2015).

Solution) One need to follow many numbers of legislation including Health and Safety at
Work Act (1974), Equality Act (2010), Data protection act (2003). For instance, it is
important that the rights of individuals be met in association with several secure attributes
like race and gender and according to the Equality Act (2010) of Wales, England and
Scotland.
In addition, there are some extra legislations in care environment such as Safeguarding
Vulnerable Groups Act (2006), a system to safeguard vulnerable groups and this also
included a Criminal Records Check (CRB).

needs. These needs may be outside the level of your expertise and thus you can plan before
like with the support of any other individual referring from a specialist field.

issues, religious reasons, health issues and financial reasons. Some learners also have their
own learning styles such as activist, reflector, theorist and pragmatist (Rapeepisarn et al,
2008). Hence, identifying each type of learner will help in advance preparation and thus
benefit both the learner and tutor.

equipment should be safe to use (PAT tested) and at the beginning of the class, safety and

very important for the learner to feel open and safe to express their views without any distress

consulted to plan cover so that the training can be attended by all learners effectively.

Solution) As the learner trainer, I must work within limits of my role and it is also important
to realize the cons of social media like Facebook and Twitter as limits can simply be crossed
and may call for inappropriate behaviour or over-familiarity. Letting of personal judgments
and using inappropriate language influencing the decision must be comprehended before
crossing of boundaries.
In recent times when I was having a busy schedule, my manager enquired me to fit in extra
training days and this makes me risk accepting Leaners members training and thus from
future perspectives, this may impact negatively on future promotion of Learners members.

training. For instance, if a Learner member comes to me with his/her issue, I would first
