Equality in context to UK is focused on removing barriers,
eradicating the concept of discrimination and making sure that
each and every individuals are getting equal opportunity (Fiske,
2010).
Diversity is difference in people which can be based on culture,
values, backgrounds etc.
Therefore, the equality and diversity in UK is focused on
enabling equal opportunities to all individuals regardless of their
differences.

Promoting equality and diversity is the practice which helps in
treating all the individuals equally regardless of their difference in
opinion, respect, belief, culture etc.
It helps in providing equal opportunity and chance of
participation in growth and development activities (Özbilgin and
Tatli, 2011).
Practising equality and diversity assist in inclusion of different
cultures together.
