INTRODUCTION
Managing People requires to be concerned with responsibility for things while leadership
always leading group of people (Canyon, 2020). Present Report focuses on management and
leadership with the context of security. Role of formal and non formal groups within
organization and Process of Decision making and Problem solving. Some principles of
management such as planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling will be discussed.
MAIN BODY
Difference between management and leadership with the context of security
Management is considered as a set of the principles associated to the functions of
organising, planning, controlling, decision making, information resources ,human resources of a
firm in order to reach out its goals effectively and efficiently (Ogbuleke, 2020).
It is vital for an organised life as well as necessary to run Security Enterprises. They need
to manage staff in order to do things and to accomplish one's objectives as well as managing an
entity means getting things done with as well as by other people in order to accomplish its
objectives.
Five Basic principles of management
Planning- It is considered as the Future oriented as well as determines the direction of Security
firm. It is also known as the systematic and rational way to make decisions at present time that
will impact the firm's future. It includes future prediction and also try control the events happens
within future. It also includes the capacity to see foresee the current actions effects within long-
term in future.
Organising
It is considered as a process through which financial, physical and human resources are
bringing together as well as developing productive relationship among them for the
accomplishing of the security firm goals. To organize a business includes providing and
determining human and non-human resources to the structure of the Firm (Al-Saidi, 2017). It
includes assignment of duties, identification of activities, providing of authority as well as
creation of accountability and Coordinating authority as well as responsibility relationship.
