'WHO MANAGES CAMPAIGN AND HOW''?
WHO conduct various campaigns on awareness on HIV Aids and how to protect people
form this. All of these campaigns are managed by management World Health organisation.
Along with them various other organisations are also working in the same orders such as
UNICEF and UNESCO (Bloom and et. al, 2015). For example WHO has organised a campaign
for raising awareness among people about HIV. The name of the campaign was “HIV prevention
”. Across the world thousand of the people are unaware about HIV aids and its symptoms. In
this campaign the organisation has raised awareness by providing free testing to people. In this
testing worker of the organisation have tested plenty of people to check whether they rare HIV
positive or not. Second method they have used for raising awareness among people is that they
use posters indicating the how aids affect health and what are the safety measures that should be
taken by people. These posters are hanged by workers of organisation everywhere in the city so
that everybody can see and understand about HIV aids. Red ribbons are also used by the WHO
by handing out these ribbons to people . These red ribbons works as an indicator and people
understand them. Free testing raises awareness among people about primary care that must be
taken.
The campaigns organised by WHO provides various safeguards to people so that they can
get protected against HIV aids (Gulland, 2016). Organisation in these campaigns describes the
way for remain protected against HIV such as to prevent HIV is to make use of condoms during
intercourse. They also tell people to never use utilized needles and injected equipments like
syringes, swabs and spoons. For protection against HIV the organisation in campaigns suggest
people to get tested on monthly basis, do not consume drugs, talk to medical care provider etc.
