Executive Summary
Aim: The report is aimed at undertaking the required steps that would lead to the
incorporation of innovation within the literacy activities that are implemented in Australia. The
report focusses on the activities that are undertaken by StoryBoard to implement the innovation
within the literacy activities that are practiced within the area of New South Wales in Australia.
The key area that the report focusses on refers to the ways in which the children might be
motivated to incorporate the innovative ideas within their literary compositions as well.
Issue: The report focusses mainly on the lack of innovative ideas and enthusiasm on the
part of the students in the incorporation of the innovative behavior in terms of the literary or the
artistic compositions that they produce. The report attempts to present the ways in which the
proper encouragement might be provided to the students so that they might implement their
novel ideas into their composition.
Problem Addressal: The report focusses on the addressal of these issues with the help of
the visits to the various schools, focus schools and other such social institutions that deal with
children and the ways in which they might express themselves through their writing or arts. The
teams that had been involved in the project of StoryBoard involved the presence of an author
along with wither one or two tutors who assisted the author in providing the encouragement to
the concerned children to implement their own creativity within the compositions.
Results: The results that were derived from the implementation of this program revealed
that the children had accepted the program in a very positive manner. The students were
observed to have provided positive feedbacks for the program and requested for similar
programs as well. The children were happy to have been granted the platform to showcase their
talents. The program also helped them to have a proper understanding of their abilities as well.
The participants of the program were overwhelmed due to the fact that there was no pressure
regarding the topic on which they had to compose their assignments. The program had allowed
them to compose on any topic or experience that influenced them. This had majorly helped them
to pen down on topics that they found worthy of discussion. The fact that the program did not
aim at judging them attracted the students even more to the program. The main purpose of the
