MANAGEMENT
1.0 Introduction
Management is one of the aspects, which helps the companies and organisations to
enhance the efficiency within the operations. Strategic approach in managing the operations
seems to be beneficial in terms of achieving the outcomes according to the requirements.
Experimentation and evaluation of the strategies enhances the design thinking and helps in
undertaking decisions, which prove effective for undertaking decisions, which ensures the
betterment of the organisations and marketplace as a whole (Huq, Alalwany and Almaraashi
2019). Corporate strategy is an effective option for maintaining the balance in the operations.
Supply chain methods, models and theories is applied on the organizational functions, which
helps in justifying the steps undertaken for managing the operations.
Corporate strategies are assistance in terms of enhancing the balance between the
operations. Within this, mention can be made of the development of personal skills, abilities
and competencies, which is needed for achieving the growth and development. In this
assignment, attempts are made for scanning the Saudi Arabian environment for shedding
light on management through the development of corporate strategies.
1.1 Critical analysis of strategic theories and models
Strategic management is vital in terms of achieving the outcomes according to the
plans, policies and programs. Within this, theoretical considerations are beneficial in terms of
achieving justification for the propositions. Mention can be made of the Blue Ocean Method,
where the important components are costs, value innovation and customer benefits (Altalhi
2018). Direct marketing prevails in Saudi Arabia, which relates to the assurance of maximum
utility value in the products and services. Strategic alliances with US helps in implementation
of effective state of art technologies, which proves effective in providing lucrative services to

the customers in spite of high prices. This aspect relates to the innovation parameter,
management of which is calculated by consideration of the utility value and the shelf life.

Branding pentagram model can also be cited, which sheds light on the branding of
the products and services in the threshold of Saudi Arabia. Advertising is the technique,
which is followed for expanding the market share. According to the model, the components
are branding principles, stability in the brand leaders, planning and control cycle, embedding
and positioning, govern the advertising. Patent copyrights and regulatory mechanisms relate
with the principles, enabling in expanding the customer base. Planning and control cycle
comprises of evaluation by calculating the number of visitors to the websites and social
media. Strategic alliance with the international TV channels like CNN, Middle East
Broadcasting Corporation, Arab Radio and TV reflects the stability between the brand leaders
