The main aim of this assignment is to emphasis internal and external issues of Dominos

Internal and external issues
The internal and external issues will be described below in the context of Dominos
Company.
Competition
Competition in both the international pizza-delivery and carry-out business is
tremendously intense, with Pizza Hut being the huge competitor in the industry. Pizza Hut is the
major competitor of Dominos which revenue is more than 60% greater than Domino’s. There are
more two rivals of Dominos that are Papa John’s and Little Caesars. This competition is the
external issues for the Domino which can impact over the revenues of the company. Little
Caesars was known for fastest growing pizza chain in 2010. Moreover to the main three
competitors, Domino’s faces fierce competition from many local pizza shops that attract large
number of people towards it (Junaid, 2009). Domino’s and Pizza Hut are the major players in the
food industry, but there are various fast food restaurants of pop pizzas and Italian Dishes that
compete with Domino’s.
Barriers to entry are comparatively low in the restaurant industry, but competitiveness
among organizations is remarkably high. There is a huge causative aspect for the low obstacle to

involve is number of small entrepreneurs which can release mom-and-pop establishments,
selection process and same with franchised restaurants (Peeples, Vaughn & O’Rourke, 2009). On
the other hand, even evading high fixed costs, variable costs are elevated and small-scale
entrepreneurs are not able to vie with huge franchise stores, who can enhance negotiate costing
on food and other supplies.

Future outlook for the Organization
The company is focused on making digital all process with a positive sentiment. The
broker analysts have a tendency to predict up to three years ahead because of lacking clarity
around the business course beyond this. This issue can be considered as the internal issue for the
company which can be resolved with the help of the guidance of employees. To increase the
application of Domino’s pizza, the management of the company is turned their attention to bring
into line the channel of the mobile with an entirely incorporated multichannel experience, on
condition that a continuous level of service across all platforms. Using Kirin, an award-winning

company is productively united functionality across all platforms to make sure that the

It has been found that the plan of Domino’s is to deliver pizza by autonomous car to the
customers. The orders will come in digitally term, they move straight onto the food prep screen
which will lead them to order directly to the restaurant to make the pizzas. This process will
more smooth. The one thing that one can see amendment is that how we can deal with giving
digital service to focus on customers. The management of Dominos is definitely research with
kiosks like others. There is a number of things implemented by the domino’s to make better
services to their customers such as the instant resolution of the query of the customer, digital
payment and discount in services to attract a large number of customers (Heppenstall, Wilkinson,
Hanger & Keeling, 2009).
Implementation of tools for measuring business success
There are many tools available by which Domino’s can measure the success of the
business. These are the breakeven point; leads generated and lead converted, sales indicators, Net
income ratio, customers and employee satisfaction (Tyler, 2019). The company can conduct the
survey through questionnaire by which the company can provide the questionnaire entailing 10
questions related to their satisfaction to the customer. It would be helpful in giving a better view
regarding the status of the company by which the company can measure its success in an
efficient manner. The breakeven point is necessary for the company in a certain time period for
the aim of covering its own costs and maintains itself no matter what period they are making a
profit at that time. Frequency and volume of sales can give information on the entire business
success the company can break this down by taking consideration of sales to new customers,
profit per sale, and sales to existing customers.
