Introduction:
The significance of the quality improvement in the medical world is observed to
increase in a notable manner and that is much required for the development of an attractive
corporate image for attracting the customers. The changing dynamics of the medical society
is seen to influence the institutions for the much required management of the compliance with
the legislations and the necessary service quality requirements (Mosadeghrad, 2014). At the
same time, the incorporation of the medical ethics in the business operations of the medical
organizations is seen to be an important value proposition for the organizations. Hence, it
becomes important to evaluate the interfaces between the medical ethics, quality
improvement and law. The paper serves the above mentioned need.
Discussion:
The link between the concepts are observed to be significant. The medical ethics has
emerged as a broad topic in the medical society and that is evident with the development of
the code of employment for the employees operating in it. At the same time, the implications
of the medical legislations in the services of the medical organizations is notably prominent.
The increasing occurrences of the medical errors is one of the main factors that
influences the companies for the desired achievement of the quality improvement. With a
detailed emphasis on the medical errors, it is visible from the statistics of the World Health
Organization that one out of 10 patients is observed to get harmed in the hospitals while
receiving medical care, every four out of 10 patients are getting harmed in the primary and
outpatient health care (Who.int, 2019). Having said that, the agency also proved that the
millions of patients are getting harmed due to the medication errors and the cost associated
with the medical errors is seen to be as significant as 42 billion US dollars annually which is
approximately 1% of the total global health expenditure (Who.int, 2019). Having raised the
