1MANAGEMENT Introduction I have undertaken an online MBA course, which was centered on the HRM practices and their applicability in the organizations. I am currently associated with Dell as their manager and a staffing expert. Subsequent to the completion of my MBA course, my goal is attain the PhD so that I might be able to teach in the universities. The discussion that I am going to undertake reflects upon the courses and the assignment that I had in my MBA course and the manner in which it helped me in understanding the issues that are being faced by Dell. The lessons that were learned by me during the MBA course are firstlythe importance of the team integration and bonding and the manner in which it can be retained in the workforce. The second lesson that was provided during the coursework was based on the understanding of the importance of keepingtheworkforcemotivatedandtherebypromotesthesmoothfunctioningofthe organization.Thirdly,the manner in which negotiations with the employees could be undertaken in order to understand their needs of a perfect working environment. The proper understanding of the issues will be helping me in sticking to my job role in order to resolve the issues through the application of the proper management of the human resource. The MBA’s Goals and Contributions to Social Change The management of the entities has been portrayed as a continuous process that requires the steady contribution of the managers or the administrative body and the employees to bring in the change in the system and the structure of the organization. The major aspects of the change that is being undertaken by the organization are based on the proper management and the style of leadership of the leaders. Often, in our courses it was mentioned that management is an art as well as a science. It is so because the understanding of the human behavior is endorsed and
2MANAGEMENT included to the study of management. On the other hand, it is an art of managing the critical issues faced by the organization or the society. It helps in maintaining a balance in the workforce and the objectives of the organization in order to achieve the common objective of the same. The input-output model of management has helped me in stating the importance of the functioning of a leader and the effectiveness of the functions that are being undertaken by the personisobservedthroughtheoutput.Theproperapplicationofthemodelhelpsthe organization in bringing forth the required change in the structure and the functioning and thereby holds on to the same for retaining the sustenance in the market scenario. Management aims at getting the things done by people who are considered as the inputs and they altogether brings in the transformation in the organization which results to the improvements in the situation of the same in the market. The MBA course also helped me in understanding the different kinds of decision that might be undertake by a leader for the proper communication with the fellow employees, which will be helping the organization in bringing forth the change. On the other hand, the steps that are being taken by the managers for resolving an issue are also discussed in the semesters. It has helped me in analyzing the issue, make a thorough investigation of the same, and thereby take a decision. The determination of the McKinsey 7-S model model has helped ion the understanding of the interlinked functioning of the leader and the decisions taken by the same as it affects the smooth functioning of the organization in the market (Van De Voorde,Paauwe& Van Veldhoven, 2012). The integration of the staff, their skills, structure of the organization, the strategy and the style helps in determining the frivolous aspects of the development of the organization. It has helped me in understanding the applicability of the same in the company where I have been working since five years.
3MANAGEMENT On the other hand, the identification of the Kottter’s model of change helps in defining the objectives of improvements in the organization. It has helped not only in the identification of the objectives for the change but also helped in understanding the processes that are required to be taken for the change management. Efficient change management helps the organization in maintaining its sustainability in the market (Singh, 2013). This has helped me in the better understanding of the need of the company to undertake change management. Theproperunderstandingofthevalueofmanagementwillbehelpingmein understanding the priorities and thereby bring in changes in the structure and the functioning of the organization. It will help in undertaking the progression of the organization in the market. On the other hand, the understanding of the management ideas will be helping me in interacting effectively with the employees, motivate them and get the work done which will be helping the organizationin making its progress. The understanding of the organizational culture has enhanced the functioning of the leadership skills. The MBA course has also helped me in enhancing the decision making skills which will be helping in bringing about changes in the structure and the functioning of the organization in the market. The course has helped me in understanding the importance of communication. It will be helping in undertaking the better performance of the organization in the market scenario. At the organizational level, the proper understanding of the various aspects of the change is based on the effectiveness of the decisions and the quality of foreseeing the risks that the enterprise might face (Deshpande & Golhar, 2012). It will be helping the organization in making its progress in the market by avoiding the risks. The MBA course has helped in determining the possible steps that I could take in order to bring in changes in the situation of the organization in the market. The major aspect of the change that is being undertaken by the organization is based on the understanding of the various aspects of the development in the enterprise. On the other hand, there were issues relating to the various functions that are being undertaken by the employees due to lack of coordination (Cameron & Green, 2015). Therefore, my lesson on the teamwork has helped me in defining the role of the individuals and their

The determination of the needs of the workforce and the proper negotiation with the workforce will help the organization in sustaining its smooth performance in the market scenario. The most important role I am required to undertake in an organization is to keep the workforce motivated. As a senior manager of the Dell’s Kuwait office, my role is to understand the human behavior, through which I can reallocate the resources and thereby facilitate the smooth functioning of the workforce. It will help me in bringing forth the change. On the other hand, the proper analysis of the issues and the understanding of the actions that are required to be taken for resolving the issues is one of the intriguing lessons that I have learnt from the MBA course. Moreover, I have taken steps to understand the training needs of the employees and thereby undertake sessions for enhancing their functioning in the organization. The adoption of my role as a senior manager and a HR specialist has made me responsible for bringing in the change in the workforce. One of the major goals for the development of the professional skill is based on the understanding of the different issues faced by the workforce. Dell has several issues in the workforce due to lack of integration and team bonding which is to be resolved for the smooth functioning of the organization. Therefore, I must take steps to apply my knowledge of the strategies in order to resolve the same as per the requirements of the company. On the other hand, analyzing the issues and undertaking an in depth investigation of the issues will be helping me in order to resolve the same and facilitate the smooth functioning of the workforce. In order to identify myself as the agent of change I have taken steps to keep a track of the situation faced by the organizations and the factors that are leading to the circumstances.
