The change management considers the factors that assist in the enabling of the improvement in
the overall performance of the company by incorporating certain changes within the given
organization. The following report attempted a discussion on the change management

1. Introduction
The term change management collectively refers to the approaches that are implemented
to assist to the concerned individuals in order to deal with as well as support the changes that are
made within the organization (Carnall, 2018). The change management within the organization
further takes under consideration the factors that enable the improvement in the overall
performance of the company by incorporating certain changes within the given organization
(Hayes, 2018). The following report aims to discuss the various change management approaches
that have been undertaken by the concerned CEO of Lakeland Wonders, Cheryl Hailstrom. The
report addresses the issues that have been highlighted in the case study in discussion based on
Lakeland Wonders. The report further proceeds to identify the gaps that have been highlighted in
the given case study. The report finally approaches a conclusion with the various suggestions
that might help the concerned organization to overcome the issues that Lakeland Wonders has
been facing.
2. Change approaches
2.1 Change management approaches
The major issues that have been highlighted within the given case study is the fact that
the concerned CEO of Lakeland Wonders, Cheryl Hailstrom has been viewing a number of
changes in the company within a very short period of time. This might lead to the discrepancies
among the staff of the company (McNulty, 2002). The existing employees of the organization are
observed to have not been accepting the changes in a positive manner. The CEO of the company
is observed to be implementing the various changes in the employment as well as the
involvement of the company in the sales of the various products of the company at various global
locations. This might help the company to grow at an international level. The other changes that
the CEO plans to introduce to the company is the setting up of a manufacturing plant at a foreign
location. This move on the part of the company might help in the expansion of the company on
the international levels. The CEO opines that the proposed changes are required in order to deal
with the overall growth of the company.
The CEO opines that in order to gain a better competitive advantage in a global prospect,
the given company needs to adapt to the changes as proposed by Cheryl Hailstrom. These are

talents within the company. The concerned organization might also face certain issues in the
conveyance of the vision of the CEO of the company, Lakeland Wonders, Cheryl Hailstrom. The
non-conveyance of the vision in a proper manner might lead to the conditions wherein the
concerned company might be facing several conflicts on the internal affairs (Kuipers et al.,
2014). The other gap that needs to be addressed within the organizational management is the

is known to have been attempting to lead the organizational workforce by putting forth

faith in the plan that is proposed by the CEO of Lakeland Wonders, Cheryl Hailstrom. This

3. Recommendation
The company in discussion, Lakeland Wonders, might face an improvement in the
competitive advantage by incorporating the changes that are proposed by the present CEO,
Cheryl Hailstrom. The CEO might be advised to deal with the employees in a compassionate
manner. The CEO might hold general meetings and in order to motivate the staff of the
organization. The CEO might be advised to explain her vision to the staff and the benefits of the
expansion that she has been proposing. The staff should be reassured of the fact that the
manufacturing department of the company would not face a complete transfer.
4. Conclusion
In lieu of the above discussion it might be pointed out that the several measures of change
that are undertaken by the CEO of the company in discussion, Lakeland Wonders, Cheryl
Hailstrom, are beneficial for the company. The real challenge that is faced by the company is the
matter that relates to the convincing of the members of the workforce of the company for
