Apart from this it also discuss about the influence of external businessenvironment factors that affect decision making by leaders & manager and suggestions for futureimprovement. TASK 1P1 Different roles and characteristics of a leader and a manager Manager: It is the person who manage and control the management of organisation andits working in order to achieve the goals of company. Leader: it is the person who motivates and leads the group of persons to fulfil theobjectives and targets of organisation. Role of manager: The manager of Toyota makes future plans and strategies for the growth of company. The role of manager is to ensure that operation and management functions are performedas per the desire of organisation (Shepherd and Patzelt, 2013).Characteristic of manager : Imaginative thinking which is helpful to make policies and take important decisions.
