Executive summary
The topic of the research is improving the efficiency of the interaction between the
company's structural unit and the company's unique software environment by
changing different areas of software. For accomplishing the goal, there are certain
sections in which the whole topic is discussed. Problem formulation, research, client
and the final combined report is considered in the whole project. In the problem
formulation report, the problem statement is given and the overview of research
design and expected outcomes are discussed. Client report gives an overview of the
implication of the findings, recommendations etc. The final report is the combination
of all the three reports mentioned above and literature review, research design,
conclusions, and recommendations are given here.
As per the report obtained from the clients, there has an impact of organizational
structure in case of the decision-making process of that particular organization.
Therefore, organizational structure is important to set the material bodies as they have
a role in different aspects of the organization.
On the other hands as per the findings of this report, there are various findings, which
are related to organizational structures of the organization. Apart from this to enhance
the decision, making process there should be some recommendation, which helps to
make proper decisions with respect to these outcomes.

Introduction
As per operation management, it deals with productivity, efficiency, quality, global
competition along with customer services etc. Therefore, for the development of the
business and as per the growth of the business it is essential to interact with the
structural unit of the company and develop a unique software environment. To
perform and participate in different types of tasks the structural unit of any
organization plays a great role. To achieve the organizational objective, it is important
to maintain the organizational structure in the use of development of the business.
Hence, in order to achieve the competitive advantage of the business, the requirement
of the organization is regarded as to be efficient, flexible, caring and innovative.
There are different types of clustered entities in Lenhart Global company, which can
be structured in many ways that depend on the targets of the company. There are
different types of entities where various responsibilities for different types of
functions are allocated by the permission of organizational structure in the company.
Therefore, the efficiency of this structural unit is important for better development of
a business. On the other hand, in perspective of the present era, there are so many
improvements in technological activities. These technological activities are
responsible for the success of business events. Therefore, in the case of any industries,
fundamental changes are done due to global competition. Hence as per the
assignments, this report is based on the operations management where it highlights
the problems and its probable solutions.

Background of research problem:
Hence as per the assignment criteria, the main problem to handle the operation
management is known as the inefficiency of the structural unit of the Lenhart Global
Company, which interact with unique software environment through changing various
areas of software activities (Ando, Fujihara, Fujihashi, Endo, Kuroda and Kobayashi,
2018). Therefore, the improvement of this process is necessary to develop the
business.
Research problem statement:
Problem definition and its scope:
According to the assignment report, the main problem is known as the inefficiencies
of operation management. In case of any organization operation management is
considered a crucial part of the activities through which it can interact with different
activities in the company such as technological development etc. To achieve the base
goal of the organization operational management utilize the resources of the
organization, production as well as inventory management of the Lenhart Global
Company. As opined by Bempong (2019) due to improper planning along with poor
scheduling and a poor team, quality control and supervision inefficiency in
operational management is recognised.
Scope: Therefore, the scope of the problem is identified as to the improvement of the
efficiency of the problems, which are regarding the efficiency of the structural unit of
an organization. Apart from this, the research is based on the changing of different
areas, which relates to software activities that consider the scope of the research.

Relating problems to focus on industry and research disciplines:
As operation, management is related to different aspects of the organization through
which it deals with the production of the services and goods, utilizing various
resources such as materials, technologies, types of equipment staffs etc. Therefore,
operational management is responsible for the converting materials and labours into
the products and their services through which an organization can satisfy their
potential customers.Futaki and Kobayashi(2018) supported by stating that, there is a
possibility to maximize the profits for the organization. In addition to this, the team of
operation management is responsible to balance cost along with all its revenue to
meet the highest profit as soon as possible. On the other hand, they have the authority
to implement various structure regarding technological networks, which help in the
raw material acquisition, and marketing departments.
Therefore inefficiencies of the operation management are recognised as the main
issue in an organization because for this inefficiency in the organization can reflect on
the different activities in the business (Di Somma, 2015).
The rationale for conducting research on operation management:
This is considered an important aspect due to various reasons. As per this research
paper, we know about the effects of the operation management to develop a
successful business in an organization (Futaki, Ueda and Hayashi, 2018). As
operation management is a major part to consider in case of an organization,
therefore, it involves daily activities in respect with different segments of the business
organization. Hence, according to the research, it can evolve the probable ways of the
development of the operation management. Therefore, it can grow the success of the
business.
