Overview of the research area
The research area focuses on the development of the Government organisations in
Abu Dhabi owing to the strategic plan of the country. The actions taken by the Government
to impose self-improvement techniques can be considered as a method by which strategic
planning as well as the practises and effectiveness in the government sector can be
considered. In this regard, it can be said that the development of the country along with its
Government officials are the main aim within the year. Therefore, as stated by De Jong,
Hoppe and Noori (2019) the development of the country along with potential business
opportunities can ensure growth of the people and the environment can be directed towards
the development of employment opportunities.
Rationale of proposed idea
The area of the research will be appealing because the strategic development of a
Government sector is necessary and at the same time, it is essential that sustainable
development of the country take place based on the actions undertaken by the dominating
forces in the country.
Previous experience in the field of strategic management will help in the field of
work. At the same time, an idea about the development of the Government offices in Abu
Dhabi will need to be known so that the research will be conducted in an effective manner.
Other considerations such as the political and economic factors of Abu Dhabi will
need to be considered so that development of the policies can be judged and at the same time
help in analysing the financial prowess of the Government organisations.

The study aims to identify the strategic planning practises and effectiveness in the
government organisation in Abu Dhabi. The aim is to analyse the study based on an
evaluative study towards the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.
Objective of the study

Scope of the research
The scope of the research is to provide a lengthy overview of the strategic planning
that can take place at Abu Dhabi keeping in mind the condition of the Government sector.

Scope of the project
The scope of the project is that developing strategies for changing the level of

had managed to develop strategies that can help in the countries to overcome any dilemmas
in the financial growth. In the words of Wakefield (2016), the accomplishment of the goals
can help in the development of Abu Dhabi and ensure the growth and change of the economic
landscape leading to the reflection of the country. Mohamed et al. (2016) stated that the
recording of the five-year financial plan could help Abu Dhabi to continue its development
from 2017 and provide the country with the needed balance to maintain a short-term vision
and development priorities, which can help in the promotion of the country and its important
practises in the country.
The current practices to accomplish Abu Dhabi vision 2030
The current state of the economy of the country can be ascertained by conducting an
analysis of the macro environment data. The examination need to be made on the sectors and

The factors that affect the formulation of strategies for Abu Dhabi 2030 include the

The research approach consists of two types, which includes the deductive and

deductive research approach so that analysis of the theories related to the topic of strategic
implementation can be made. At the same time, the application of the deductive approach
will help in validating the research questions.
Research design
The research design involves the application of three types of designs that include the
descriptive, exploratory and explanatory research designs. The descriptive design helps
researchers to provide a full description of the theories and models. According to Mertens
(2014), the exploratory designs analyses the data, as well as helps in identifying new research
data. The explanatory design analyses the data in a detailed manner by using logic and
theories. For this study, the application of descriptive research will be used so that insight of
each of the components can be gained and the theories be analysed in a comprehensive
manner.
Research tools
Research tools that can be utilised for conducting a research includes case study
analysis, survey questionnaire and interview method. The case study helps in gaining
evidences that can be obtained from the analysis of a particular data model (Neuman and
Robson 2014). At the same time, the survey questionnaire includes distribution of closed
ended multiple-choice questions to a primary target. As stated by Nardi (2018) the interview
method involves the analysis of broad responses from managers. For this research, case study

method will be used which includes analysing the evidence received from the collection of
secondary data.
Samples
The study will be conducted using secondary sources. Unlike the primary sources of
collecting data, the samples in this case will include books, journals and websites. The
samples will be obtained from different sources and analysed so that authentication of data
will be made. These samples will not be distributed to any other people and will be used
strictly for conducting the research. It is also important to ensure the accessibility of the
secondary sources so that proper development takes place.
Data collection methods
The data collection method will include the primary as well as the secondary data.
The primary source of data collection method helps in the analysis of the data using various
direct to direct communication techniques. According to Neuman (2013), these techniques
include collection of survey questions as well as the conducting an interview of the people
that are important for the set up. The survey questions are analysed using statistics. As stated
by Davies and Hughes (2014) the secondary analysis of the data includes collection of data
from books, journals and websites. These sources of data are analysed as a form of case study
and evidence based research. In order to conduct this research in an ethical manner, the use of
secondary sources of data will be used. The application will be in the form of evidence
collected for conducting research.
Anticipated limitations and issues
The limitations of the research will be based on the authentication of the data. The
data will be limited to search since proper information about the strategies adopted by the
Government of Abu Dhabi may not be available. At the same time, proving that the data is

valid may be difficult since the reliability of the data cannot be made. Along with this, ethical
consent can be difficult to obtain, mainly because the secondary research requires excessive
analysis of the data. The participants involved in the data collection method may not be
reliable since the issues with the team usually were based on the method of collecting data.
Thus, along with the limitation this may be the issue that is required to be dealt with for the
development of the research.
Ethical consideration
Ethical considerations that needed to be considered for the research is the fact that
secondary analysis require reading and understanding of various data from books and
journals. However, accessibility to these books may be restricted. Hence, ethically the
researcher would respect the privacy attached and ensure illegal manner of getting the content
is not adopted. At the same time, data provided will be authentic and no false information
will be provided that may misdirect the people. Along with this, ethical consent form will be
collected that provides an authority to collect the data. The collection need to be made by
considering the informed consent and ensure that every detail related to the research would be
undertaken in an authentic manner.
Risk consideration
The risk consideration that will be maintained will include the authentication of the
data. The data related to the project will be difficult to collect mainly because the source
related to the data will be difficult to gain. At the same time, it will be difficult for the
researcher to maintain time and resources in an effective manner so that development of the
research can take place. At the same time, the risk will arise from gaining the books and
journals required so that validity and reliability of the data will be maintained. These risks
will be mitigated by maintaining the ethical factors required for conducting the research.

Assumed outcomes of the study
The assumed outcomes of the study are that Abu Dhabi can become a rich country in
terms of its sustainable growth and the future. The study will help to understand the manner
in which the country can continue with its development and ensure that the Government
officials understand the importance of the development of the country and thus, help in the
growth of its people. Along with this, strategic planning will help in the development of the
country within 2030 and provide opportunities for growth as well as opportunities for tourism
in the country.
Implication of the study
The implication of the study can be attributed to the fact that sustainability practises
can have a growth in Abu Dhabi and can help its Government to undertake actions that can
be suitable for the country. At the same time, it is essential that the Government as well as the
people of the country work together to consider the actions that can be undertaken for making
improvement towards a better future that will be effective for the growth of the country and
elevate its level. Thus, it can be said that Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 can be considered as an
important growth role for the development of the country.
