INTRODUCTION
Management theories are group of thoughts and idea that pass on information in regards of

managing and improving the performance of the employees by applying the model of
motivation.
The motivation is referred to as an inner feeling which directs the person to do any
action. If the person will not have interest in the operation then they will not perform it in the
similar manner if the employees are not motivated then the employees will not perform the task
in the intended manner. Thus, for this Rebecca applies the theory of Maslow need hierarchy
theory which is very effective in motivating the employees. In accordance with the theory of
Maslow the motivation is the only thing with which the employees can work in a systematic and
effective manner and work in direction of attaining the goals of the business. When the
employees are motivated then they work in more effective and productive manner and due to
this Rebecca wants to motivate the employees.
In accordance with the theory of Maslow there are five variant kinds of needs which if
are fulfilled then the person is motivated. In simple words it is clear that when the employees
work in the direction of these needs then they automatically urges to complete the work of the
All style department stores and individual need as well. In accordance with this theory if the
basic need of the employees is satisfied then automatically the employees work in more effective
and productive manner. The theory of Maslow starts with the fulfillment of the basic need of the
employees which includes food, shelter, water and all other things for the basic living. If the
basic need of the employees will be satisfied then the employees will work in more effective
manner. After the basic needs are satisfied the employees look for safety that is safety of job,
family and other safety needs. Thus, these are also satisfied by Rebecca by providing job
security to the employees.
Further in addition to this third need is the belongingness need which states that people
also need to maintain relation for their happy life and this also includes healthy organizational
relation. Thus, for this Rebecca is providing for the time to time informal meeting so that
employees within the All style department stores are comfortable and friendly working with one
another. After this the esteem need comes which involves having prestige and proud moment in

motivations to the employees. The combination of financial and non- financial motivation is
essential as some people gets motivated with finance and some with non- financial things like
promotion, up gradation. Thus, the motivation is the only thing with which Rebecca can improve

employees as well.
CONCLUSISON
After going through the above report it has been summarized that there are six to seven kind
