INTRODUCTION
Diversity mentions to the accumulation of different culture religion, values, languages,
ethics, race, caste and many more on the basis of equality, where all employees are treated
similarly and equally regardless of their culture, values, ethics and languages etc. Whereas
equality refers to the similarity and equal treatment in pay, growth options and right that are
provided by a company to its workforce (Klein, 2016). So that there will not be any kind of
discrimination in working environment. Moreover, these two methods are informed as interior
components in the firm because it instantly associates with attaining high extent of profit and
efficiency in more effective form. In reference of this document, Primark has been included that
operate its business in fashion industry and a subsidiary of the British food processing and retail
organisation. This venture has established in 1969 and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. This
venture specialises in sales of garments, accessories and footwear. Currently, it has 360 store
globally and operating in the low cost end of the market (Primark - Statistics & Facts. 2020).
Within this document, a discussion is made regarding the conception of diversity & equality and
strategies to build a diverse and inclusive workforce. Further, it will explain about research
methods or methodologies that are implemented by the firm to collect data for the
accomplishment of the research report. Finally providing several appropriate recommendations
for developing the quality of project and firm performance and producing which is revised on
surveyor experience and knowledge while processing the whole project activities.
Aim:
“To develop an understanding of diversity and equality and organisation and various strategies to
deal with changes which are taking place in order to apply equality and diversity” case study on
Primark.
Objectives
To understand the concept of equality as a less diversity in the business.
To review various challenges which may arise while practising equality and I was city in
business.
To create strategies and use various models which are related to equality and diversity

Rationale of research:
In the above given research work and investigation is done in which concept of equality and
diversity and how can this be applied on an organisation as discussed. There are a number of
issues which have to be faced by organisation when they are applying quality and diversity
within the organisation and strategies are needed to be created in order to deal with it (Andres
Imaz, 2020). Primark is selected in order to design various management practises to apply
equality and diversity concept in organisation. It will help the organisation to fulfil all the
objectives and also increase the profitability.
Project management plan
Project management plan refers to a Word document in which the map for investigation on
the topic was discussed. It helps and research and various activities which are to be carried out in
research are divided into various parts. There are a number of different activities involves related
to strategies which will be applied in organisation. Research plan when developed by researcher
includes a number of different topics which are mentioned below:
Cost: Cost involves all the amount which is required to successfully carry out the research. When
taking the following report there were cost involved to collect secondary data, travel cost for
collection of primary data, stationery cost et cetera. However the cost required to carry on this
data was minimal and easily managed by the researcher.
Time: It is necessary to mention the time which will be required to carry on the research
successfully. There are primary research and secondary research both involved in the following
research which requires a lot of time. The time is divided on the basis of different activities
which are to be carried out while continuing with the research
Scope: It is a very important element which helps in describing the importance as a less scope of
research in business sector (Van Rijn, 2016). In the following research the scope will be helping

in order to compare Primark with similar companies in the industry. There are also number of
opportunities will be provided to the company which will help them to grow in the market
effectively.
Communication: It is essential that when a report is conducted all the people were associated to
the research are communicating well with each other in order to transfer information between
them. When considering the following research there are a number of different ways to
communicate the management system of Primark. It is necessary for all the researchers to
communicate with each other the information about development of the report in order to reach
at a specific conclusion and recommendations for the company.
Risk: There is a risk involved in every factor of research. Risk might be included to technology,
Hampering of the results of research, various misleading information as well as miss use of the
information of business. It is necessary in research to make sure that every resource which is
used for secondary data collection are reliable and there is not any negative impact of the
investigation which is conducted in market.
Resources: When the following research report is taken into consideration of Primark there are a
number of different resources required in order to conduct the research successfully (Dickerson
III and et. al., 2016). These resources may involve the amount of money required and research,

they are needed to be fulfilled.
