Research methodology
Qualitative vs. quantitative research: The research methods are divided into two sections. The
qualitative research deals with several theories and studies. The information is collected in the
manner of communication, interviews, taken from the students and staffs of the college. The
quantitative research method is in numerical form which helps the researcher in maintaining the
data accuracy which is received from the staff and students of the college (Biber, et. al., 2017)
According to Burke, (2013) digital technology plays an important role in the growth and
development of students and staff members of the ECBC. The college is currently using the
traditional marketing function which is depends on the single channel of distribution. With the
introduction of digital technology the college is bale to recruit the staff members such as
teachers, accountants, etc from the online recruiting sites. For example monster.com, shine.com
etc, such websites are used for recruiting the person as per specification. The big data technology
is used which identifies and develops the requirements and need of students and members. A
college has strong capital to launch the digital technology which is very beneficial for the future
and growth of students in their studies (Burke, 2013)
This system is depends on the big data technology which helps in the recruitment process in
college at wider level. The numerical for of data and information are collected from the students
and its authenticity is properly maintained. The data must be unique in this evaluation for better
result (Program Success. 2011),
Primary secondary research: In this method of research the data and information are
collected directly to the student and staff members of the college, such as conducting
surveys, interviews from students, etc. secondary research is conducted from the
published data and information. There is no direct contact with the students of college.
Sampling: Sampling is distributed into probability and non probability. In probability
every member has a non zero ratio of probability, and it covers random sampling,
systematic sampling etc. in the non-probability samples are collected by the manner of
non-random basis. Convenience sample is one of the methods of non-probability method
(Chron.2017),
Random technique: The researcher is using the random sampling method in this project
management plan.
Data source: Data are collected from the students and staff members of the college.
Sampling method and sample size: the sample size of the research is 100 respondents
which includes students and staff members (Davies, 2016).
Research instrument: The some types of research instruments are undertaken such as
face to face interactions, interviews, questionnaires etc.
Reliability and validity: The accurate and reliable information are taken in the research.
No any fake and unreliable sources are collected which may create any hurdles in project
plan. There are no requirements of changes to be made in the responses of staff members
and students.

Ethics: It is considered as the significant part of research analysis to conduct the research
in fair manner. All the ethical norms, standards and principles of the research are
followed regularly. The information collected from quantitative research is framed
ethically so there will be no harms to any particular person (Davies, 2016).
Limitations: Several limitations are faced by researcher that students are not showing
their interest in questionnaires, interviews, lack of coordination and cooperation from the
students and staff members.

M2 Evaluate the accuracy and reliability of different research methods applied
The research is depends on the reliability and accuracy of research data and information. This is
analysed by taking the consideration of collection sources of data and information.
Qualitative research: This is defined as data that deals with several theories and studies. The
researcher used several peer views and collect extra information for better growth of the project.
It is determined that qualitative research has no chances of repletion of information and
knowledge. The researcher of the project used his own experience and understanding into the
collection of information.
Quantitative data: It is said that this research is free from any type of repetition and duplication
in results get by the questionnaires which is used in numerical form and to maintain the
accuracy of informational and data. The random sampling method is used for the collection of
information from students and staff members (King and Baatartogtokh, 2015)
