INTRODUCTION
Recruitment can be stated as stimulating correct candidates for the vacant position and
hiring them according to the needs and requirements of the post. However, Selection means
selecting the best and appropriate nominee from the pool of participants. And, training is
provided to the employees who have been selected for the post so that they can better understand
the job profile. By selecting right candidate for the right post the overall workforce efficiency
can be raised and best out comes can be achieved. For recruiting and selecting administration
adopts various methods to choose the qualified and appropriate candidate for the vacant post. As
well as training is provided to them on continuous basis so that job profile can be better
understood easily. This assignment is carried on MARS which came into existence in the year
1911 and founder was Franklin Clarence Mars. This is a American global manufacturer located
in McLean, United Kingdom. This assignment covers discuss briefly the aim and objectives of
the organization. Also, prepare a PMP by including scope, time, quality, risk, resources and
communication. However, throw-light on WBDS and Gantt Chart in order to carry out the
business smoothly.
TASK 1
P1) Discuss the aims and Goals of administration.

Franklin Clarence Mars was the founder of MARS in the year 1911. This is a American
global manufacturer located in McLean, United Kingdom. Organization is serving it serves
across the globe and are satisfying the preferences of the consumers. It deals in product such as,
beverages, foodstuffs, pet food, candy, mints, confectionery, gum etc. Business associates
believes that it is very necessary to provide people with opportunities for life long learning.
MARS think that skills of the staff members should be enriched so that workers and firm both
become more autonomous and confident and come up with new idea in the market.
Aims:

demands. Skilled and capable employees come up with creative idea which directly assist in
accomplishing competitive advantages in global market. Mars uplift their training, recruitment
and selection activity for their staff members in order to full-fill standards of human resource
management.
Objectives:
1. To understand the implementation of no-discrimination policy within staff training
sessions enhance overall performance HRM to achieve global demand.
2. To conduct on-the job training programs for staff members of Marks & Spencer in
order to uplift HRM functions to meet global standards of HRM.
3. To analysis importance of human resource management function in the growth of M&S.
4. To determine the role of non-discrimination policy towards reduction of high employee's
turnover.

cost and quality.
Project management plan involves all activities which are, scope, risk, communication,
quality, time, etc. so that firm associates can function their business properly in the competitive
market place. It includes various aspects which are explained as follows:
Scope for MARS: It includes all those activities which are required to complete the task
carried out in an organization. This act as guide as for controlling all the activities related to

scope. MARS by examining all the activities of the existing marketing figure put the scope
prevailing worldwide. As this enterprise is the fastest growing business in the world there are lot
of scope floating in the open market. By evaluating this scope business can adopt huge profit. By
doing so tough competition is created in the open market place. created for others in the market
which is a positive sign for business.
Communication for MARS: Effective communication helps to achieve the desire goals
on time. MARS adopts two way free flow of communication carried out so that high-grade
outcomes can be achieved in the set time duration. Also, competitive advantages by providing
quality product is achieved in the competitive market place. Lack of communication creates
misunderstanding and chaos among the team members due to which productivity decreases at a
large scale in the global village. Also, gradually, the market value reduces which is a negative
sign for the organization. By this the customer base for the goods and services decreases.
Risk For MARS: In order to survive in the competitive market place every business come
up with innovative product which is a great risk for MARS in the global village. To overcome
the risk forces company design creative idea on regular basis by evaluating the existing market
place so that switching rate of potential customers can be reduced at a large scale. And
accordingly tactics are designed in the open market place in order to survive for longer time
period.
Resources For MARS: MARS utilizes available resources effectively and efficiently so
that best outcomes can be achieve in the open market place. They motivate the human resource
on continuous basis so that productivity can be increased respectively which leads to increase in
workforce and revenue gathering in the open market place. As well set objectives and customers
emerging needs are satisfied.
Time for MARS: Time plays a vital role in business. To succeed in the global market it is
important to complete the assignment in proper order. Here, 10 weeks are need to successfully
complete the task in the set time duration.
Cost for MARS: The estimated amount need to conduct training, recruitment and
selection criteria is $ 80000. Organization is gathering funds from banks, relatives, friends, other
financial institutions etc. so that MARS is able to perform this activities easily.

quality of the goods and services. The gathered information either from primary or secondary

Producing project management plan for scheduling, observation and full-filling the aims
and goals.
With the help of this PMP major aims and objectives of the research will be achieved. As
in this plan and strategies will be implemented for managing complex activities in the best
possible manner. This plan will also guide in making best use of the available resources for the
winding up of investigation in the effective and efficient way. If each and every activity is
properly managed than goals will be automatically achieved.
P3) Formulate a Work Break Down Structure and Gantt Chart in order to render time frame and
level for wind-up.
Gantt Chart: Henry Gantt was the inventor of Gantt Chart was introduced in the year
(1910- 1915). This can be described as a bar chart which determine the project schedule so that
set standards is accomplished in due period of time . Every administration is depended upon
their kind of enterprise adopts this so that business can function smoothly. This bar chart shows
interrelationship among activities and current schedule status. It is important as it shows how
long project should be carried out as well determine resources and plan the sequence in which
project will be completed.
