INTRODUCTION
Diversity mainly represent the presence of distinct employees and staff who are coming
from different inheritance and having different features, characteristics, knowledge and skill. The
concept of equality aim at ensuring same or equal opportunities at workplace without any
discrimination on the basis of their sex, colour, nation, culture or family background. Proper
governance of both equality and diversity is necessary in an organisation to impede productivity
and business growth(Vuorinen and Martinsuo, 2018). This research report is based on Beatty Plc
which is leading international construction and infrastructure development institution of UK
having its headquarter in London (TCI Top 100 Construction Companies 2018, 2018).
In this report background and purpose of the report and its main objectives are included.
A project management plan to monitor and complete objectives and aims of research is also
included which consists different aspects of research. Beside this a WBS and Gantt chart is also
there for providing stages and time frames for its completion. In addition to this, research
mythologies is also included with proper use of techniques for analysing data is collected. At
last, reflection and recommendation also form a part of this research report.

diversity in its organisation, so that productivity, opportunity and competitiveness of the
organisation can be enhanced through providing same opportunities to all staff irrespective of
any discrimination at workplace (Woliński and Bala, 2018). Thus, with the purpose of evaluating
how companies act towards managing this concept of equality and diversity following a research
is conducted on Balfour Beatty Plc that is multinational infrastructure and construction
organisation of United Kingdom.

United Kingdom, United states and in some parts of south Asia. On the basis of its turnover and
