INTRODUCTION
Managing a successful business project is one of the key to obtain better results from the
project. It mainly includes resources and failure impact on functioning of business. It is
necessary for project manager to conduct project in an effective manner and also attain desired
outcomes. This project is related to multinational firms to improving recruitment, selecting and
training to employees in order to meet with the global needs. It is necessary for the multinational
companies to hire talented employees who can perform the operations of business in a better
manner (Lakhani, Kuruvilla and Avgar, 2013). H& M is Swedish multinational clothing retail
organisation and it operate its business in around 62 countries with more than 4500 stores. In this
report going to discuss about Gantt chart and work breakdown structure to give stages and
frameworks for finish.

Globalisation is explained as an integration between people, organisations and
governments in all over world. For performing the operations and activities of company globally,
there is a need to hire the qualified employees and provide them training to perform the business
activities and deal with the international clients (Sekiguchi, Froese and Iguchi, 2016). H&M is
multinational clothing retail firm established in year 1947. this company operate its business in
almost 62 countries with over 4500 stores. In this company, there are more than 132000
employees working. The main focus of this company is to recruit the talented staff members so
they can able to deal with international customers and also resolve their any kind of queries.
Aim
Aim of project is “how the multinational companies improve the recruitment, selection
and training of their employees to meet International requirements.” Under this, firm find the
different ways to hire the employees and provide them training for enhance their knowledge and
skills. From this, they can able to provide the better contribution in achieving particular
objectives within given period of time. For make improvement, it is necessary hire the expert
from outside so that they can provide the proper guidelines about recruitment and selections of
employees (Shah and et. al., 2012). In addition to this, the main focus of multinational companies

is on make improvement in recruitment and selecting methods so that the objectives can be
attained and gain competitive advantages.
Objectives
To execute employees’ on-job training programs in H&M organisation for make
improvement in HRM functions to attain international standards.
To examine advantages of recruitment, selection and training to H&M organisation?
To determine the different challenges faced by H&M company in conducting business
globally.

Project management plan is explained as the document that is used to discuss every phase
of project. Project manager develop plan inputs from its key stakeholders and also the project
team. It is formal and the approved document that defined how well the project is executed,
monitored as well as controlled. There are some aspects included in project management plan
given below:
Cost- It is one of the most important factor that is necessary to doing the project in an
effective way. Without money, firm can not do any activities of project. The total cost involved
in completion of the project will be £100.
Scope- The scope of the project is wider and organisation perform its activities at large
scale. H&M provides the large number of products and the services in all over the world (Shah
and et. al., 2012).
Time- In project, each activity needed to completed with in given time period. Under
this, time will be allotted according to the activities and staff members should be ensured that
deadlines need to be followed in a proper way. The project will be completed in 4 months.
Quality- It is necessary aspect of the project because quality makes project better. It is a
responsibility of manager to focus on improving the quality of project. On the other hand, an
investigation need to use the authentic sources for data collection to maintain quality of project.
Communication- It is necessary aspect because through this employees can interact and
share about the important things regarding project. For communication, employees can use
emails and through this they can share necessary information about particular area (Sciascia and
et. al., 2012).

Risk and resources- For conducting the project, some risk are faced by the project
manager such as finance and technological. It is the responsibility of researcher to manage risks
for the purpose of project completion effectively. Manager should arrange all resources to
complete project like manpower, technological and many others.

Work breakdown structure- It is chart under which necessary components and project is
illustrated to be portray relationship with the each other. Under this, graphical nature of Work
breakdown structure can assess project manager to predict the outcomes which are based on the
different scenarios to assure that the decisions are made regarding adopt and not adopt the
suggested changes or procedures. Aim of work breakdown structure is to make large project in
manageable manner (Boella and Goss-Turner, 2012). WBS aids in in segmenting complex
projects in to manageable and simple tasks so that employees can perform activities in an
effective way without facing any type of issues.
Gantt chart- It is bar chart and most popular way to showing the activities displayed
against the time. It is one of the useful technique in planning as well as scheduling project, this
keeps updated management to when project will be finished. On the other hand, it keeps
management informed regarding additional resources which are necessary and also mange the
dependencies among tasks. The Gantt chart is mainly used for the purpose of tracking the project
scheduled (DeCenzo, Robbins and Verhulst, 2016). It is also used for project planning of all the
sized and shows the work scheduled in particular day.

In this, researcher conduct a small- scale research has been applied by using the
qualitative and quantitative research methods for getting reliable information as well as make
valid conclusions.
Research methods- These are techniques and strategies which use in gathering of data for the
purpose of analyse to uncover the new information for better understanding regarding specific
subject area (Mowforth and Munt, 2015). Different methods of research are mention below:
Qualitative- It is explained as data that characterized and approximates. This kind of data
is non- numerical and gathered by using the observation methods, conducting the focus groups
and also same methods.
Quantitative- It is emphasises objectives measurement and also numerical analysis for
data collection (Sciascia and et. al., 2012). Under this, data is measured through using the
statistical analysis.
Reason to selecting qualitative research method- In this research, there has been
qualitative research used because it aids in giving deep-understanding regarding specific area and
gain proper understanding about particular subject area.
