INTRODUCTION
Equality is considered to be a complex area which is considered by both the recruiter and
the employees. With this equal and fair opportunities are provided to all so that the legal
compliances can be met effectively. The diversity has a positive outlook as with this people can
be employed from a diverse range of people. For the organisation it is important to value the
differences among the employees because this make the organisation capable of dealing with
various issues. This is due to people from different culture posses different skills set. The
employer must formulate the policy for the recruitment so that fair selection can be done. In this
report a small sized company Rowlinson Knitwear is taken into consideration, which is a UK
based uniform manufacturer. The organisation aims to bring equality in the organisation for
which they aims to consider the recruitment policy based on the social-cultural factors as with
that they can target the suitable talent. With the help of such policies the employees can be
motivated and this will improve their performance and thus the overall performance of the
organisation can be enhanced. Rowlinson Knitwear aims to retain their employees for a longer
period of time and this can be done by managing the diversity at the workplace. For this the
report includes the research on the basis of the which the recommendations are provided to the
company that can help them in overcoming the issues.

P1) Aims and objectives of the research
Overview of the research: This research is undertaken for Rowlinson Knitwear which
is a uniform manufacturer that provides dresses for the students and corporates. They company
aims to develop a balanced workforce for which they need to incorporate the equality and
diversity within the workplace. They investigator conduct the research on the recruitment policy
so that they can procure the employees from different socio-cultural background and to retain the
employee ((El-Sofany, Alwadani and Alwadani, 2014).
Aims of the research: The aims of the research is “to determine the impact of recruitment policy
on the social-cultural background of the employee.” A case study on the Rowlinson Knitwear.

Research Objectives:The objectives of the research are:
To identify the impact of the recruitment policy on the employees of the organisation
within a period of 1 month.
To identify the how recruitment policies of socio-cultural background can help in
increasing employee retention by 25%.
To analyse the ways in which equality and diversity can improve the policies of the
recruitment in 2 months.
Research Questions:
What are the impact of recruitment policy on the employees of Rowlinson Knitwear?
What can be the impact of the recruitment policy in retaining the employees in the
organisation?
How incorporation of concept of equality and diversity can improve the policies of the
recruitment?
P2) Produce a project management plan
In any of the project, it becomes crucial to develop project plan because it simply gives
the idea that how any of the work can be concluded in a effective way so that desire outcomes
can be achieved. It is a duty of project manager to prepare plans and policies so that cost, time,
resources and other helpful components can found which will have a direct impact on the goals
of a project. Below, there is the detail discussion about project management plan (Glasser, 2014).
Cost : It is the most effective elements as here, project manager gets the duty to prepare
or estimate the budget which is going to incurred during the course of research. It gives
the idea that whenever any of the company conducts the project, how much amount of
fund is required to complete the work in successful manner. In addition, it will also give
the idea to kept fund in reserve for the project so that in any of the circumstances problem
will not be needed to face by researcher.

Scope : It is needed because it allows to determine and decide about the goals needed to
be achieved during the project. It will also deliver the idea related to methods and
techniques which are required to be used for the purpose of meeting the set criteria within
the set limits of budget. In context of organisation, it will be useful for them to decided
that how they can conduct any of the project and on the other side, it will be necessary for
researcher to determine about techniques they can used for effective outcome.
Timescale and the management: For the researcher it is important to identify the time
scale in which the research need to be conducted. Such time scale is determined on the
basis of the activities which are to be undertaken by the researcher for undertaking the
project. This research will include the collection of the data with the help of questionnaire
so that the accurate data can be allocated. Due to this the time limit of completing the
project will increase. The time can be managed by the researcher with the help of
preparing the Gantt chart and a work breakdown structure. It will facilitate the researcher
in sequencing the activities of the research and in allocating the time to each activity.
With this the research can be completed on time without any delays. The researcher will
take at least 2 months to complete the research (Guetterman, Fetters and Creswell, 2015).
Quality Management: The quality management of the research is associated with the
quality of the data and the information which has been used by the investigator as this
make the research authentic and reliable. For this research the primary data is gather by
way of questionnaire and this will make the recommendation of the researcher reliable.
Also various secondary sources will be used by them for that they will consider the
reliability of the source from where they are taking the information.
Communication: This is one of the important aspect of the project management plan
with the help of which the researcher plan the communication path with the project
managers of the organisation. In this the progress of the research need to be intimated to
them by way of formal reports, emails, video conferencing etc. But for this the researcher
need to procure the skills and the team members who are efficient in such skills. It will
help them in establishing and providing the details of every aspect of the project to the
project mangers (Hammersley, 2017). .
