INTRODUCTION
Project management can be refereed to as planning, controlling and monitoring the
business aspects so that the targets and objectives of it are achieve in an effective manner within
allotted time, budget and quality. It is important to have the systematic evaluation of the project
findings so that a business project can be evaluated successfully(Sanghera, 2019). Talent
management is defined as the process whereby planning is done for retaining the employees
together with attracting potential workforce so that the business move forward towards the
success and growth. This can be achieved by the continuous motivation so that existing skill and
knowledge can be improved and new skills are achieved. The company chosen for this report is
Barclays Plc, an investment bank which is headquartered in London, United Kingdom. This
report shall cover the aims and objectives relating to talent management, project management
plan, primary and secondary research, its findings and at last the reflection report is also present.
TASK 1
P1. Project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario.
Talent management is defined as a procedure which is undertaken by companies to retain
the existing workforce and attract potential workers into the organisation so that they can
effectively contribute in achieving the goals and objectives of company. It is a constant process
where the employees are continuously motivated in order to enhance their performance and
encourage them to make improvement in their working. The talent management strategy is a type
of plan which involves managing the high quality workforce in order to ensure success of the
company. A researcher is appointed in the organisation Barclays Plc so that it can determine any
of the issues relating to talent management in the organisation together with its importance. The
main purpose of conducting this research is to identify the problems which the company is facing
so that a plan can be presented in order to solve this issue so that comp[any can retain its skilled
and knowledgeable employees. Another objective of this is to identify the advantages of
managing the talent. The aims and objectives of the present research in relation to executing this
research is narrated below-
Research Aim:
To examine strategies of the talent management so that the company Barclays cam attract
and retain the high quality employees in the organisation.

Research Objectives:
To identify the importance of strategy of talent management in enterprise Barclays Plc.
To Determine the benefits of talent management in company. To examine the issues which is presently being faced by Barclays Plc in relation to talent
management.
Research Questions:
What is the importance of talent management strategy in organisation Barclays Plc ?
What are the advantages in relation to talent management in the company ?
What are the issues which Barclays in currently facing in relation to talent management ?
P2. Produce a project management plan.
It is the formal document that provides how the task or project can be carried on. It
provides the goals, timeline, deliverable, scope and the cost for the project so that the clear track
is kept of it. The main objective of the plan is to deliver the details of project together with its
process so that the project can be undertaken. The components of the project in relation to
present research is discussed below-
Cost: It is the amount which will be utilised in completing the project by researcher. It is
a type of budget which shall be used in in order to carry out the research. For the present
research, the researcher shall require 2000 Pounds.
