INTRODUCTION Project management can be refereed to as planning, controlling and monitoring the business aspects so that the targets and objectives of it are achieve in an effective manner within allotted time, budget and quality. It is important to have the systematic evaluation of the project findings so that a business project can be evaluated successfully(Sanghera, 2019).Talent management is defined as the process whereby planning is done for retaining the employees together with attracting potential workforce so that the business move forward towards the success and growth. This can be achieved by the continuous motivation so that existing skill and knowledge can be improved and new skills are achieved. The company chosen for this report is Barclays Plc, an investment bank which is headquartered in London, United Kingdom. This report shall cover the aims and objectives relating to talent management, project management plan, primary and secondary research, its findings and at last the reflection report is also present. TASK 1 P1. Project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario. Talent management isdefinedas aprocedurewhich is undertaken by companies to retain the existing workforce and attract potentialworkersinto the organisation so that they can effectively contribute in achieving the goals and objectives of company. It is a constant process where the employees are continuously motivated in order to enhance their performance and encourage them to make improvement in their working. The talent management strategy is a type of plan which involves managing the high quality workforce in order to ensure success of the company. A researcher is appointed in theorganisationBarclays Plc so that it candetermineany of theissuesrelating to talent management in the organisation together with its importance. The mainpurposeof conducting this research is to identify theproblemswhich the company is facing so that a plan can be presented in order to solve this issue so that comp[any can retain its skilled and knowledgeable employees. Anotherobjectiveof this is to identify the advantages of managing the talent. The aims and objectives of the present research in relation to executing this research is narrated below- Research Aim: To examine strategies of the talent management so that the company Barclays cam attract and retain the high quality employees in the organisation.
Research Objectives: To identify the importance of strategy of talent management inenterpriseBarclays Plc. To Determine the benefits of talent management in company.To examine the issues which is presently being faced by Barclays Plc in relation to talent management. Research Questions: What is the importance of talent management strategy in organisation Barclays Plc ? What are the advantages in relation to talent management in the company ? What are the issues which Barclays in currently facing in relation to talent management ? P2. Produce a project management plan. Itis the formal documentthatprovides how thetask or projectcan be carried on. It provides the goals, timeline,deliverable, scopeand thecostfor the project so that the clear track is kept of it. The main objective of the plan is to deliver the details of project together with its process so that the project can be undertaken. The components of the project in relation to present research is discussed below- Cost: It is theamountwhich will be utilised incompletingtheproject by researcher. It is a type of budget which shall be used in in order to carry out the research. For the present research, the researcher shall require 2000 Pounds. Resources: For completing this research successfully, the researcher shall require the human resource, funds, and other resources so that it can achieve the research aims and objectives efficiently. Risk: There are many risk associated with this research which involves maintaining privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by employees. Secondly the risk of completing the research within time and budget allotted. P3.Produce a work breakdown structure and a Gantt Chart to provide time frames and stages for completion. Work breakdown structure It is abreaking downof work in hierarchy form. It helps the researcher or project manager in planning, monitoring, controlling, reporting the project(Cosenz, 2017).Under the work breakdown structure, the whole project is divided into many small components so that the aims of the projects are achieved in an appropriate manner like the hierarchical form. Research methodology is the method which mainly helps in the process of research and refers to particular procedure which is used to gather the information which is reliable and viable. In primary method of data collection, the data is being collected by framing the Questionnaire and personal interview.For secondary data collection methods, the data us being collected from the books and journals, magazines, newspapers and the related websites. Primary data collection-The data is being collected from this method is the first handed datawhichismainlygatheredfromtheresearchersthroughquestionnaire,interview, observations ans survey etc. the data is mainly collected from the direct source and primary data is considered.
Secondary data collection-It is type of data collection method in which the data is being collected from the books&journals as it gives my clarity and the clear vision to the researcher in order to get the accurate results. Sampling-It refers to the process in which the researcher take the large group of people in order to do the survey as there are many ways of in getting the effective results in the research. Researcher use the systematic method and random sampling and evaluate the data according to the need. In this respective research, the researchers is taking the 20 employees of Barclays Plc. TASK 4 P7. A reflection report In this respective report, I have successfully completed my research project as I feel delegated and grateful as it give the huge opportunities to the research and analyse the advantage and the issues in relation to talent management. For this report, I have use the qualitative and the quantitative method that are really helpful in collect the useful data and make the valid report. This helps in accomplishing my researchin an effective manner and for the primary data collection, I have made the questionnaire and conduct the survey with the employees numbered 20 and for secondary data, I have referred the books and journals. Furthermore, I have improved my communication and problem-solvingin order to get effectiveness in my work. I also improved the lean time management skills that help in developing the various strategies as I have used the google strategies by identifying the sue in the research project. Thus, this project helps me getting the chance to work with the new skills and knowledge in order to solve the various issues. CONCLUSION It is concluded from the above report that project management plan play an significant role in the managing and executing the project. It is integrated with the various component that is associated and undertaken in this report so that it can be successfully achieved. For achieving the aims and objective of the company, the work break down structure and the Gantt chart is being made by which the project can be completed in aeffective manner. Moreover the qualitative and the quantitative research has been used in order to collect the primary and the secondary source of data.When the data is being collected from the primary source, it will gathered by framing questionnaire in order to get the accurate data. In relation to secondary method of data collection, the data is being collected from books and journals and the research sue that data in their research.
