TOPIC
“To study the issues or concerns faced by an organisation while not implying the equality
and diversity at the workplace”.
INTRODUCTION
Diversity and equality is the term used in the UK to elaborate the equality, diversity and
human rights to define the values of society. It signifies about equal opportunities for all people
by behaving and giving the chance harmoniously to attain the potential outcomes and keep free
from all kind of prejudices and discrimination at the work place. E&D helps to organisation in
enhancing the morale and productivity of employees that enables to organisation as well as
individual in gaining higher productivity. Chosen company for this based on the Rowlinson
knitwear which deals in apparel in both formal and schools. This report includes the concept of
equality and diversity by considering the gender pay gap issues or concerns. To conduct the
study on Gender pay gap by build the purpose, aim and objective framed in most appropriate
manner. In addition to the suitable research methodologies to pace towards the definite path with
the motive of achieving the desirable targets as well as goals of company. At last it involved the
recommendations in order to always improve the results and reflection regarding the learning of
an individual in the whole process.

Overview of organisation and rationale:
Rowlinson knitwear which is large manufacturer of different types of garments wear that
is suitable for the office as well as corporate wear and personalize for both clubs and schools.
Respective organisation established in the year 1972 and employee owned in the year 2015.
There annual sales is £9,052,000 and the ratio of people working with them are male is 51% and
female are 49%.
Research aim:
The aim of respective research project is “ To evaluate the issues arise due to gender pay
gap and inequality that have a adverse impact upon workplace productivity”.
Research objectives:

To evaluate the concept of the Gender pay gap and issues arises from it.
To analyse the influence of gender pay gap upon the performance of employees of
Rowlinson Knitwear within six months.
To evaluate the strategies implemented by the Rowlinson Knitwear within the six months
in order to minimise the effects of gender pay gap on their organisation.
Research Questions
What is understand by the Gender pay gap and issues arises from it ?
What are the effect of gender pay gap on the performance of employees in Rowlinson
Knitwear?
What are the major strategies and tactics availed by the Rowlinson Knitwear to minimise
the negative impact of gender pay gap on organisational effectiveness.

Cost is refers to funds that are required by a researcher for
conducting their research work in effective manner
(Akkermans and et.al., 2019). In respect of respective research,
project manager required near by £ 50 so that they conduct all
research related activities properly such as gathering
information, conducting research etc.

Scope
Scope of research refers to identifying effectiveness of
research helps in determined about issues and challenges that
arise while conducting research related activities. In respect of
this research, scope is that project manager will able to
develop appropriate strategies for related to research topic i.e.
related to reduces the difference in pay due to gender equality
from organisation. The scope for the organisation is to get rid
of inequality in gap of gender pay successfully.
Time
This factors refers to time period which required by a person
or project manager in order to accomplish a particular research
effectively (Armenia and et.al., 2019). Along with this, project
manager of this research required approx six months for
gathering proper information and conducting research properly
as well as in timely manner.
Quality
This is consider as quality of work or activities which are
conducted by a project manager in respect of their research
and its outcome. In context of respective research, project
manager will develop proper standard of their work so that
they will work accordingly as that will help them in
developing and maintaining quality. By using the Total quality
management project manager can be able to maintain quality
of information in positive manner.
Communication
It is considered as factor through which researcher of project
will conduct communication with its audiences as well as team
members (Bhatta and Thite, 2019). In context of this research,
project manager will conduct communication with their
members by arranging meeting as well as in respect to
communicating with audiences they may adopt social media
platform. This is so because through it they can communicate
members as well as audiences in effective manner. In the

organisation by following hierarchy of information they
deliver the potential information to employees regarding
elimination of gender pay gap.
Risk
This refers to the hurdles or barriers which may arise while
conducting any work or project. In respect of this research,
there are some risk which may take place such as time duration
is less, budget allotted is less, members are unskilled and less
experienced, audiences not respond properly and many more.
So it is essential for manager of project to create proper as well
as effective strategies as per the given time and funds as well
as they also need to provide proper training to team members
so that they can develop their skills and perform properly. In
context of organisation the major risk is not proper
implementation of the orders.
Resources
It is consider as all those resources that are needed by a person
with the motive of complete a specific project or work
(Cerezo-Narváez and et.al., 2019). Moreover in respect of this
project, researcher required numbers of resources such as time,
skilled and experienced team members, funds and many more.
Through all these resources project manager will be able to
implement all research related activities in effective way that
will support them in accomplishing set goal. In context of
organisation they need the resources is proper management,
task and responsibilities and many more.

For an organisation to frame the project in a structured way required to avail different
types of techniques that needs to be done work in effective way. In context of Rowlinson
Knitwear Gantt chart as well as Work break down structure will help organisation can be able
to frame out activities in systematic format that are as follows:
