business for the purpose of bringing equality as well as diversity at working environment in
order to involve disabled workers”. A case study on Costa coffee shop.
INTRODUCTION
workplace diversity defined as a combination of several culture, gender, language, age as
well as religion for manifest the company's reputations within the competitive environment.
Whereas equality refers to the approach that are used to treat all employees in an equal manner
along with all aspects such as gender, caste, nationality as well as creed (Araten-Bergman, 2016).
Moreover, implication of equality and diversity brings high productivity, innovation, creativity
as well as effective decision making as it empower manager in order to provide equal
participation of all in terms of their languages and abilities as well. In this report Costa coffee is
chosen which is a subsidiary of American company the Coca-Cola and it was founded in 1971.
This deals in several better quality of products as well as services such as tea, coffee, iced drinks,
sweet snacks, sandwich. Under this report research about the company as in which manner they
deals with bringing equality and diversity at working place as well as develop specific range of
aims, objectives in order to develop a project management plan. Also, work breakdown and
Gantt chart as well as small size of research also conduct by using qualitative as well as
quantitative methods of research.

Aim:
The aim of this research project is “To examine the initiatives and strategies that are use
by Costa Coffee in order to bringing equality as well as diversity at company's workplace.”

To understand the meaning of diversity and equality at workplace.
To examine several strategies that can be used by Costa Coffee in order to develop
comprehensive working environment.

It is a most effective plan that are used by the researchers in order to gather appropriate
and detailed information as it facilitates blueprint that includes several aspects. These elements
are required to lead an individual in order to achieve tasks within a time duration (Boehm, 2015).
It also includes several strategies that helps in enhancing the quality as well as reliability of
project in an appropriate manner. In the context of this project investigators use different tactical
components for performing the tasks in a better way. These aspects are as follows: Cost: For the purpose of implementing a plan, funds are considered as crucial aspect
which assist personnel to accomplish aims and purpose of project. This is refers to that
factor that incur while tasks is in processing as it includes several cost like operational,
research & developmental, production, raw material, labour, advertisement etc.
