INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is a chain of activities to spread products, services, technology and
information to the end user by cross national and culture boundaries. It focus on
interdependence on countries and their trade to foster global free trade and policies. It helps
in raising the standard of people in less developed countries by giving opportunities of job,
access to products and services at broad level and to give high leaving standard by providing
high rate of wages in proper way. This report is based on Vodafone which is an
multinational telecommunication conglomerate organisation, headquarter is in London. It
operates in many regions such as Asia, Africa and Europe among the mobile operated deals
at global level it achieved fourth rank in no. of mobile customers. This report is based on the
Globalisation which is very much important to capitalise opportunities in positive way by
reach at large no. of consumer base.

Research aim and objective are very much important for an organisation for aim of
the work includes overall purpose behind conducting the study that should be clearly and
concisely defined by the researcher (Aharoni, 2014.). It helps to go with the main objective
behind conducting research in proper manner to reach at desirable outcomes.
Research Aim:
The research aim for the current research is “To analyse the positive economic,
cultural and ethical impact of globalisation on function and operational activities of an
organisation”. A study on Vodafone.

To identify strategies by which negative impact of globalisation in terms of economic,

Literature review is known as narrative review which is an kind of review article in a
scholarly paper format in which current knowledge and information, substantive findings as
well as theoretical framework also consist in it of a particular subject matter (Akram-Lodhi
and Kay, 2012).
What is the importance of globalisation in business expansion?
AS per the view of Sampson Quain (Why Has Globalization Become so Important?
2019) Globalisation is very much important for an organisation to deal in effective manner
by capturing opportunities. There are some important attributes by which organisation can
enlarge business opportunities. It not only proved beneficial for organisation but for an
individual to going global because it helps in giving best way to live and firms can lead in
business environment by enlarge business opportunities.
Globalisation opens up international access:
As the day by day people more demanding and to satisfy their needs and wants in
proper manner organisation have to enlarge their business opportunities. In that aspect
Globalisation helps to communicate and by providing digital media for communication for
both small and large businesses with help of various kinds of marketing campaign that helps
to reach at large no. of consumers. For an example if an organisation sell the books and
other products there are not a single variable that stops from promoting products as every
consumers have varies kinds of needs and demands. In context of Vodafone they operate in
many regions of the world by exploring various opportunities to deliver right kind of value
to their ultimate consumers.

By integrating self interest of an organisation it is very much important to build products and
services as per the market needs and demands. Globalisation helps in expand business at
global level as it provide consumer cost relatively at lower cost in comparison to domestic
marketplace. Globalisation make it possible to reach at large no. of consumer by handled
inquiries of consumers and hired them at relatively less price or cost. In context of Vodafone
they serves in different regions so by taking advantage of global opportunities organisation
can remain competitive in market place.

their existing working system that helps to suitably working for foreign market scape.

2019) the transformation of the present economy directly affects to the business activities on
direct bases to get right kind of outputs at right time frame. In business environment
globalisation impacts a lot to gain competitive advantages organisation have to measure na
evaluate each and every attribute in better way. Organisation have to take permission from
government of foreign by following their instructions organisation can be able to deal in
effective manner. In context of Vodafone before going global they have to evaluate various
factors in which state of economy, demography in which organisation wants to spend their
market. with commercial demand and supply side of their business with requirement of
improvement in infrastructure and marketing systems with practices are important to deal in
effective manner. All these factors brings changes in internal functional and operational
activities of an organisation to deal in proper way.
