INTRODUCTION
In this globalised world, there is an intense level of competition among companies which
motive them to acquire diverse workforce in order to accomplish their goals However, for
maintaining such working culture the aspect of equality and diversity is recognised as one of the
essential element in company. The concept of equality is refers to the process in which company
treats to each and every employees in an equal manner while diversity relates to hiring or
accepting different culture, gender, religion, sex and so on. Both terms are crucial for company
to manage all the employees equally and also to create positive working environment. This will
help in improving workers performance and connectivity with others who are performed in
business organisation (Chaffey, Hemphill and Edmundson-Bird, 2019). As per this report,
gender pay gap has been included as a big or prime issue, that is faced by majority of companies
in present day. Due to this issue, it negatively impact on workers efficiency at workplace.
Therefore, it is critical for management to provide equal treatment to entire workforce so that
they can feel their importance and value towards the company and its goals. By this, firm amend
performance of company and its workers also. Present study is focus Quantum Technology
Marketing, is a small business as is operate in UK with the purpose of attaining larger
profitability. The main focal point of this company is to enhance their productivity level. This is
the reason that firm tries to treat their worker equally so that they can effectively execute their
task. By this firm can accomplish their predetermined objectives in specify period of time.
TASK 1
P1 Project aims and objectives
Gender pay gap is refers to the mean differences between the among male and female
who are performing within the business organisation. Generally, women employees get less pay
as compare to men. This can be big issues faced by company and its workers as it directly affect
their performance in negative manner. Thus, manager of business organisation show a significant
part in managing or treating workers equally so that they can enhance their abilities to do well at
workplace. This will contributes in making them productive within the company.
Research aim:

To evaluate the impact of Gender pay gap on employees performance within the
organization. A study on Quantum Technology Marketing.
Research objectives:
To determine the influence of Gender pay gap over the workforce.
To examine the challenges faced by company due to the practice of Gender pay gap
within the workplace.
To identify the alternative ways applied by Quantum Technology Marketing to overcome
or deal with Gender pay gap issue within the organization.
Research questions:
What is the influence of Gender pay gap over the workforce?
What are the challenges faced by company due to the practice of Gender pay gap within
the workplace?
What are the alternative ways applied by Quantum Technology Marketing to overcome
or deal with Gender pay gap issue within the organization?
P2 Project management plan
PMP is show a significant function in implementing an effective project as it is formal
and detailed documents that apply by project manager for preparing the whole project activities.
Mainly, it provide guidelines to project manager that support them in establishing the set target
(Chapman, 2019). This will aid in providing detail to team members about how project activities
will be executed. Through which, firm easily complete the project and attain set goals in
specified duration. As it includes different aspect that aid in developing a successful project
management plan which mentioned below:
Scope: The overall range of this task is wide as it is founded on the gender pay gap, as it
is one of the major issue for each and every organisation. Currently, huge research are done on
this topic that provide an effective analysis to company in managing the same at workplace with
the aim of creating positive working environment. This project is an effective that provide huge
analysis on the basis of current issues.
Time: Project is required a specific time frame in which each and every task will be
completed. If entire activities done in particular time duration that project manager can improve
the overall performance (Englund and Graham, 2019). For completing this project, around 3

month will be required as it set before starting so that they complete the project in set period of
time.
Quality: While performing project activities, proper quality is must in task activities of
project and gathering information as well. In this regards, project manager needs to ensure
overall quality by analysing data by collecting the same from accurate and authentic sources
only. It support investigator in improving the accuracy in entire project activities and at the same
time also increase the chances to be successfully completed.
Communication: For managing as well controlling project activities proper
communication is crucial among all the team members so that they work properly. In this
regards, project manager also ensure that team members communicate openly and also share
their ideas with them. It may aid in transferring accurate informations with each other that helps
in saving time and cost, as well as to reduce the chances of occurring error.
Risk: Each and every project required certain risk that can be put negative effect on
project activities and its end results. In this, project manager is responsible for analysing as well
as evaluating risk factors before starting the project. With the assistance of this, unnecessary risk
and issues can be easily eliminated and a the same time also make smooth and effective project.
Resources: It is important aspect that highly required in completing the plan activities in
successful way. It includes proper finance, human resource, technology and many more. All
these are managed before implementing project as it provide opportunities to manager in
managing or completing whole project without any kind of uncertainty (Ferraris, Erhardt and
Bresciani, 2019).
P3 Work breakdown structure
Work breakdown structure: It is consider as an important structure wherein each and
every task is divided into smaller and different parts through which staff members can
accomplish entire set targets in systematic manner. Furthermore, manager of business
organisation is also able to execute and perform their task activities in well organised and
systematic manner. One of the main advantage of using WBS is to effectively manage large
project into smaller task through which each and every activities can be done effectively. It is a
graphical representation that shows activities along with each task. By this, manager of project
can systematically done entire task activities and also make a successful project.

Gantt chart: It is also an crucial graphical cognitive content that shows the effective
relationship between different activities along with time frame that assist in completing the
whole project in well organised manner (Fewings and Henjewele, 2019). By using this aspect,
project manager can easily develop strategies as per the time frame. Furthermore, it is also
consider as an essential tool by which project manager can manage project activities to
accomplished predetermined targets in an proper way. It also may aid in eliminating the
possibilities of rise issues in project activities.
