INTRODUCTION
In business organisation, equality and diversity is one of the important aspect as it
support workforce in improving their performance within the company. In this regards, gender
pay gap is a major issue among employees in most of the organization. Sometime it put negative
impact on employees and their relation as well (Bell, Bryman and Harley, 2018). The main
reason behind this is company differencing male and female on the basis of their wages and
remunerations. Normally, women are considered to be less as compare to men that directly
reduce their morale and motivation towards the company and its objectives as well. Thus, it is
important for firm to treat all the employees equally whether they are men or women. With the
help of this, company can easily improve their productivity level and at the same time also attain
higher growth. Current report is based in ASDA, is British supermarket retailer operate their
business in over the world with the aim of generating larger profitability. Report is going to
discussed about research aims and objectives along with research methods help in gathering data
towards the same.

P1 Project aims and objectives
Both equality and diversity are major concern for business organisation to overcome from
all the issues elated to gender pay gap and so on. This will help them in motivating and retaining
workers for longer period of time within the company (Bolton and Mattila, 2015). For better
understanding, project aim is mentioned below on which whole research is carried out:
Aim:
“To determine the ways by which company can responded towards the gender pay
gap”. A study on ASDA.
Objectives:
To evaluate the impact of gender pay gap on employees performance.
To determine the importance of equality at workplace in maintaining relation among
male and female workers.
To ascertain ways by which firm can overcome from issue of gender pay gap.

P2 Project management plan
Project management plan is considered as an important document that used by project
manager with the aim of describing every phase of project. Mainly, it includes various aspects
such as planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing as well (Brettel and et. al.,
2014). Along with this, there are some elements are there which help in executing project
management plan in successful manner:
Cost: Every project requires a proper of enough fund so that entire activities can be done
in an effective manner. For this research, investigator will required around £70 for
completing research activities. With the assistance of this, project task can be effectively
done and attain positive and reliable outcomes at the end of the research.
Scope: This research provide wide scope to business organisation as it provide
opportunities to effectively managing gender pat gap that assist in enhancing overall
performance of company. Along with this, it also provide a new direction or path to
expand their market share to attain higher success at market place.
Time: It is important for investigator to complete project activities in stipulated time
frame provided by superiors. For completing current project, investigator will require
around 7 weeks so that each and every activities can be done properly.
Communication: Effective communication is important through which project manager
can easily handle of formulate project activities in an effective manner. In this,
investigator use mobile phone, email, regular meetings and so on. These are support in
making whole research reliable and authenticate as well.
Resources: There are various resources which required in under this project like enough
fund, men-power, technology, land and many more (Coombs, 2014). All these are may
aid in completing this project in allotted time frame.
