than 730258 hotel rooms are available in the UK. The annual turnover of the
hospitality industry £40bn annually. Hospitality Industry is giving the more
contribution in the UK economy and it is estimated that the projected to improve
to £265.2b in the year 2028. It is analysed that 94.96 % world class hotel, 62.93
& mid range hotels and 64.07 % budget hotels are presented in UK.

To The Industry As A Whole.
Hospitality industry in the UK hotels are performing
well and providing their best contribution in the
development of the economy. Accommodation
sectors considered the most influential in the hotels
and restaurants which can provide the maximum
profit to the hotels. This chart show the performance
of the UK hotels occupancy rate &ADR.

 There are various types of ownership of accommodation services in hospitality
industry that follow the specific ownership structure.
 Ownership of the accommodation services are classified those services that
customers will get in the hotel.

owned, leased and franchise model.

 Privately Owned – In this type of ownership, provide the more freedom to the
owner of the hotel but also give the more risk. In this ownership, the hotel owner
is free to take decision according to the situation and they can give the command
and have control in overall operations, and growth of hotel.

building basically belong to someone else. This is like an agreement that

the fixed rent. This contain some risk because it is totally depending upon the
performance and rating of the hotel.

so that they can use their logo, name, all the

 The role of Grading, classification system and online review sites are helpful to set
the standard of the hotel and provide rank on the basis of their services and facilities.
All these classifications can provide the significant marketing programs for each
hotels so that they can promote their quality, services, discounts and offers which will
help to attract the customers.

grading schemes that operated by the Auto Mobile Association and National Tourist Boards. In
which AA rating system mainly concerned about the customer’s point of view on accommodation

Conclusion
As per this PPT, it can be concluded that accommodation services are playing a
necessary part in the hospitality industry and it also help to attract and retain the
customers. This report identified the size and scale of the hospitality industry and
also determined the ownership structure of hospitality industry. Most of the people
use private and franchises ownership. Accommodation sector play a prominent role
in the development of the hotels and restaurants.
