INTRODUCTIONBusiness performance is the only aspect that assists the entities to reach towards the definedgoals and objectives and through this, business can also survive in competitive market place.Managing business activity is all about management of activities occurs in organization (Shen,2008). The concept is also termed as the process of enhancing business performance level on higherextent. The present research study has been made on University of London where in the principalhas undertaken different activities to manage all the functions and processes in effective manner. Inter-relationship between the different processes and function within the organization. Explain thecollege mission, aims & objectives and analyze against the performance of the organization. (LO 1: 1.1) Long term business success and profitability is directly related to the strength and quality ofbusiness process and alongside, it enhances the scope of business growth and prosperity. Universityof London has different functions and departments which manages different functions and processesand which also aids the university to allocate all the resources in organizational practices. The mainaim of the university is to deliver proper services to the students and the university also desires toenhance the standard of education among people (Pagano, 2006). The university follows properstructure to manage all the roles and duties and the chain of command is followed in centralizedway where in top authority is accountable to delegate duties to all the subordinates. Differentdepartments in the university are human resource department, financial department, administrationdepartment and employee training department. All the departments have been working in integratedmanner so that university's performance ability can be underpinned (McCollum, 2004). 4Illustration 1: Structure of the University
