IMPORTANCE AND VALUE OF DIVERSITY POLICYDiversity policies are vital for fostering mutual respect among the staffs for the members belonging to other cultures. This approach is beneficial for enhancing the unity and coordination between the team members. Involving the workers from the marginalized sections of the society is apt for enhancing their professionalism. Rational and logical approach in this direction yields positive results in terms of enhancing the corporate social responsibility. In this, mention can be made of Equality Act (2010), which helps in reducing the conflicts, discriminations and harassments in the workplace.

CONTD...Diversity policy is also beneficial in terms of reducing the conflicts and achieving effective solutions for maintaining the balance in the operations. Using the problem solving cycle is helpful for enhancing the brand image. Penetrating into the global markets exposes the staffs to the different avenues, which they can avail for enhancing the skills, abilities and competencies. This is not possible without the strictness in implementation of the Diversity Policy.
