INTRODUCTION
Managing information and technology refers to the use of the machine to store, process,
create, secure and exchange the data into valuable information. In other words it not only means
to use of technology but it is also used as a developing and maintaining the various activities
within the organization. In this both telecommunication and computer technology work together
and it includes various modern advancement like internet, websites, surfing, e-commerce and e-
mails. This technology is used when the business enterprise solves the critical issues or finds the
better opportunities to earn a higher profits and revenues. It can be used in both the terms i.e. in
tangible as well as intangible form. In this management work as a discipline and information
technology is the resource of the firm and is organizing as per the needs and wants of the firms.
The main objective of using this managing information and technology is to run an organization,
makes a proper book-keeping records, helps in understanding the mission and goals by proper
use of technology and communication and for analyze the data that was helpful in understanding
the functions and increase the profits and market growth in the current market place. The main
aim of making this research in managing information technology is to analyzing and makes the
values of using the new and unique technology that is help in aligned the business strategies as
per the needs of the environment. This project report is based in the use of various categories of
information system that helps the person to stable the working life. Further it also shows the ERP
system that means enterprise resources planning which is helpful in making the proper plan for
the resource that eliminates the wastage of raw materials. Although it also shows the benefits of
ERP system in a real- life business activities like in Primark, how it will enhance the productivity
and proficiency of the workers so that they will give the positive results to the company(Chu and
et. al., 2017).

Information system refers to interrelation between the group of components that helps in
carry out the output from the input, processing, storage and control actions that helps in convert
the raw data and input into the finished information and output that assists in the forecasting,
planning, coordinating, decision making, control and for doing the operational and tactical
activities in the organization. There are various categories that involves in the information
system and helps an enterprise to perform their task smoothly and effectively and some of them
are explained below(Stohl, Stohl and Leonardi, 2016). Transaction processing systems (TPS) - It refers to a set of detailed facts and figures
that helps in collects, modifies, stores and retrieves the data transactions of enterprises. It
is useful when anything sold through the use of internet and in this it permits the delay I
time between the goods is being sold to the when it is actually sold to the ultimate
