In my position of previous job, we all worked as a group during financial year end. All the

you do and what was the outcome?)
When in previous job I was working in a team. I have got a project having quick and tight
deadline. and one of the team member felt that his voice and views in terms of ideas is
not being heard by the members or me. So he was feeling as left out of team and wasnt
working properly or in appropriate manner. He was working slow enough on his
allocated element of the project. I thought of sitting down with him and talk to him
about the problem he had. I tried to listen to his concerns. Later we together came up
with a way for him and he felt good by having his more input in that particular project
and put his complete effort in that project.
4. Tell us about a time when you had to manage a number of different priorities and
complete a number of tasks in a short amount of time (what did you do and what was
the outcome?)
I had a responsibility of working with three departments at a time. Marketing sales and
accounting. I had to promote the product in such way that would have attracted large
number of customers and also maintain price at the same time. When I was working in
sales, I made a mistake that resulted in a lost sale. Even though the consequence are
lower, I understand what is at stake in the department of accounting. I can not deny
with the fact that I have messed up in such way by working in different roles together at
a particular period. This had affected the clients that are existed for few times. But I
have always been able to work with them by making them sure that they will be satisfied
by what they require and ensure them to be the loyal customer of that particular
company. I found out with this that the thing that is done in response of making any
type of mistake I really that which makes a huge difference.
With these I learned one thing that giving specific time to particular work leads to
success and will also help in benefiting that particular company with good quality work
and loyal customer base.
5. Tell us about a project you worked on that required you to persuade others to your
point of view (what did you do and what was the outcome?)
With my current position, members of my department had been working in continued
manner with vendors for many years simply due to inertia. It was very easy task for that
company to renew the contract of that particular vendor every year. They prefer that vendor

as the best one rather than considering any other alternatives on that place. But my
manager objected me to consult other alternative rather than that vendor. I explained to my
manager that I required quality time in order to find out or evaluate the top vendors in this
field and will later present the alternatives. Later, manager was the only one who would
have taken the final decision by observing and presenting the alternatives. He was the one
that had to decide whom to work with for longer term. My department consider 5 vendors
in total that includes current as well. This process ended after manager selected new vendor
with best features and functions for our present department and has a cost savings of more
than 30,000 dollar per year. This was the last project that I have worked for and persuade
others or influence others for my point of view and this later resulted into positive outcome
by finding the best one for the department have best functions.
