INTRODUCTIONHuman resource is considered as the most essential segment of firm, as the growth andsuccess of an organisation is based on the performance of employees. Harrods is one of the most popular organisation which deals in luxurydivision stores in the global trade. The organisation employs around 4000 workers with anadditional 3500 agency and concession employees. This report contains the study about ananalysis of the recruitment and selection process which is followed by Harrods, the importanceof motivation theory that are relevant to Harrods and their application and identifying variousfactors which impacted on the performance and behaviour of an individual at work place.
