INTRODUCTION Project management is defined as application of procedures, approaches, knowledge, competences, skills and experience that a project manager is used to achieve specific aims and objectives of particular task according to acceptance criteria. It encompasses varied strategies and methods that play vital role in success of projects that has been conducted for commercial purposes. It considered as procedure of leading work of a group of people to reach at target aims and meet success level at a particular time frame. It helps to organize each element of a project in effective and systematic manner, which is quite important in order to gain desire outcomes. The entireprojectmanagementprocessfallsintofivecategoriessuchasinitiating,planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing. The current study is based on Andreea's beauty room as beauty cosmetic shop, which open soon. The study will introduce project management techniques and tools that will utilize in the context of chosen company. Furthermore, it will explain their extent to which management think they are useful in light to changes that have taken place in business environment due to COVID-19. The report will justify development of plan for implementation of project and relevant stages that will be followed. It will also explain how it is going to be implemented and ways used to communicate project plans with right stakeholders and colleagues. Moreover, the assignment will critically evaluate individual ability to manage a project in light with COVID- 19. It will define usage of feedback from others to evaluate project manager ability to plan and implement it by determining key strengths and weaknesses. Lastly, the study will explain self development plan to improve performance of project handler in managing process of opening shop as new project. The main thing that motivate me to engage in this project that is opening a beauty cosmetic store, is to satisfy the need and expectations of women's who seeks to purchase those cosmetic items that are paraben free, and good for skin as well as made from natural ingredients. The concern of most of the females in the whole world who are worrying about their skin care, specially during pandemic, is the main motive which drive my attention to make myself engage in this project. The beginning date of this project is 12 April 2021 and the ending date is 25 August. The idea of opening a new beauty cosmetic shop named Andreea's beauty room is introduced by the owner of this store, who wants to enhance the satisfactory level of each woman as their buyer. With the help of implementing this idea into practical manner, the owner of this
store may provide benefits to its venture. Owner and buyers are the main beneficiaries, who take benefit from this shop in term of achieving aims and objectives and fulfilling needs. When the project does successfully it will bring a lot of advantages for each stakeholder as it help to increase profitability, customer base and sales level, but when it will not done systematically, it put negative impact on plans of owner, which is not acceptable for them as well as other stakeholders. When the project of opening a beauty shop is not done, it affects expectations and needs of customers. Take away chance of gaining competitive edge in term of increasing customer base and obtaining desire outcomes. It makes each customer dissatisfied and will not meet their expectations. When the project is not successful, it will be a huge loss of venture and bring challenge for the owner, which they may overcome by taking initiative and right decision. MAIN BODY 1- Critically assess usefulness of project management tools and techniques and also assess extent to which project manager think they are useful in light of modifications that have taken place in venture environment due to pandemic In recent time, due to COVID-19 several companies are facing issues to manage their work and operational as well as functional activities of businesses. It is not that easy to develop and manage any project, just because of pandemic. Here, certain project management techniques and tools taken into consideration that may help to handle the situation and are helpful in light of changes that has been taken place in current business environment (Saeed and Ahmed, 2018). Prince 2 It is one of those project management tools that are widely utilized and adopted all around the world by many organizations and people from wide-ranging sectors and industries (McGrath and Whitty, 2020). It is the best and most effective tool, because it guides project manager via essentials for managing a successful project like opening Andreea's beauty room. Prince 2 method encompasses four key elements such as principles, themes, processes & project environment. This approach is suitable in the context of current project, because it gives simple and easy guidelines which may take into consideration and get benefits. Furthermore, along with this, it defines key elements that provide benefits to project manager in term of obtaining desire outcome and successfully opening a new beauty cosmetic store. It may implement by following
the principles of Prince 2 method and considering seven themes as well as stages of project life cycle. Strengths- The key strength of Prince 2 as project management method is that is embodies the best practices and helps to promote effective communication by offering a common vocabulary. The best thing about this method is that it help to handle each project in effective manner by defining phases of project life circle, from initial idea to closure. The main objective of this approach is to release benefits via process more than focusing on only at the end of project. At the core, it exhibits central values and attributes of trust, empowerment, flexibility and collaboration. Strengths- Most of the companies has adopted this tool just because of its key features as strengths and benefits that it provide to users. For instance, it is quite easy to make test related to integrated part of current project execution stage which means that entire quality of cosmetic product is greater and according to the expectations of target customers.

Furthermore, from this report, it has been determined that by project handler has implemented their project successfully, and generated market share by selling quality cosmetic products via Andreea’S beauty room. As they had followed each step under plan that has created to implement project and get success through it, in term of increasing customer base. Project manager has utilized an appropriate communication plan under which they have used appropriate tools to communicate with project stakeholders and fulfil their needs.
Moreover, by summing up above analysis, it has been summarized that by using SWOT analysistool,individualhassuccessfullyidentifiedtheirstrengthsinrelatedtoproject management and weaknesses as well, which they have overcome by creating self development plan. It has contributed to improve the performance of project manager in managing their project and strengthen them to achieved set aims in term of opening and managing shop in pandemic situation that has been affected the entire world. By considering more suggestions in the context of work, project handler may handle complex business environment in the future. RECOMMENDATIONS Project manager can take more initiative to handle the project in environment where everything get affected due to pandemic as there are many rules and regulations emerged that drive the attention of management towards implementing changes within existing practices. In order to handle, current project, they can continually take updates about COVID-19 guidelines provided by the governments in each nation which made them able to take further initiatives and steps towards beauty shop opening. Furthermore, they can conduct market research before opening outlet and mid of this process, which allow them to understand exact needs and expectations of customers, that may change due pandemic. It strengthens them to work accordingly and offer what people expect from an beauty brand or company. By following these recommendations, project manager can get valuable benefits which made company able to be competitive for longer period of time in the world of corporate.
