INTRODUCTION
Personal development is denoted as learning and acquiring new skills and practices that
can enhance the overall growth of the human being (Thisted and et.al., 2020). This involve
adopting knowledge that can support the development of new skills and ability as an individual
to expand the growth potential. This project would entertain the PDP for the 12 month period.
The initial stage of the project indicate that all the suitable approaches to manage stress, positive
thinking and assertiveness and other associated elements. Creation of goal setting and personal
skill audit will be done to achieve the best possible capability to boost the skill and capability at
the individual level. This involve SWOT analysis to address different strengths, weakness,
opportunities and threats at the individual level. This project would also address about the
different strategies to grow different skills and abilities for achieving the best level of individual
growth. Integrated personal development planning would also addresses in this project.
Furthermore, this project would address the effective performance management practices at the
organisation level. All such strategies will also demonstrate in this project to channelise the high
performance of employee at the organisation.
QUESTION 1.
a.PDP
Personal Development Plan is a method of Self examination, personal contemplation and open
appraisal of individual’s weakness and strengths (Khan, 2020). This allows the individual to
evaluate the importance of management and leadership training that one has received, and to
observe leadership development in self. Before making the personal development plan individual
needs to focus on evaluating his/her by doing personal SWOT -
Strength
Basic skills required at work place are good
and the expertise with the current position on
the company is sound as training from the
company has provided benefit.
Can cope with the some other certification
programs which will add on to profile, can be
managed with sleeping less as these programs
Weakness or Areas of Improvement
Disturbance in Work-life balance, as it is
difficult to maintain balance between work &
life. So really need to work hard on this part.
Due to academic studies and part time work,
lost physical fitness, so have to work on
physical fitness as this is the most essential.
Generally takes more time in planning, and

provide help in practical work and provide
clear directions.
Have leadership qualities, got confidence from
leading team over extended time period and
analysed that have ability to manage team and
people in attaining their specific objective with
the deadline.
making them understand to subordinates. In
some places, planning is still superficial and
need more practice in decision-making and
planning tasks (Chahal, Jyoti, and Rani, 2016).
In order to develop more confidence, need to
experience more team management scenarios.
Opportunities
Get support and guidance from line manager
on personal development.
Show employer that had both of structured
management and training of leadership as well
experience of leading teams to attain specific
projects and tasks.
Renewal of hectic business schedule and
focusing on better life balance to become more
focused and refreshed at work.
Threat
The only key threat is to maintain balance
work life and personal commitments.
