Introduction
Effective strategic planning has become necessary for every organizations for getting the
proper directing towards achieving its goals and objectives (Hill 2017). Through the effective
strategic management initiatives, it becomes easier for the company to gain the competitive
advantage as well as achieve the long term benefits. By highlighting the situational analysis of
Wiser, business environment of the company has been analyzed. After identifying the strength
and weakness of the company, the study will provide different recommendations that can be
beneficial for the company to achieve its strategic goals for coming 5 years.
Background of the company
Wiser constructs creative homes for the young people, which prepare homes for the
young people (B.co.uk 2019). It aim of the company is to introduce creative designs in the
market for gaining the market position. In order to introduce its creative design in the market the
Wiser Company has developed different web and film designs. In order to maintain strong
organizational culture, the company maintains correlation between employees by providing them
opportunities to enhance their skills (B.co.uk 2019).
Mission statement for next 5 years
Mission of the company is to increasing its business revenue 12% within coming 5 years.
It also aims to provide standard quality of service for being the popular construction organization
in UK market. Being a creative designing company, it also aims to manage the

Political Due to Brexit vote, unstable political situation in UK has stopped the trade
connection between the European countries (Lichten et al. 2015). In this
situation the risk of political environment for the local organizations lie Wiser
is low, as the threats from the foreign organizations is low.
Economic Analyzing the economic situation in UK, it can be said that the country has
started overcoming the financial crisis, however, the growth rate is still in
struggling position (Karran 2016). Hence, it can be said that, the economic
risk is moderate for Wiser company.
Social Analyzing the socio cultural situation in UK, it can be said that living
standard of the UK people is quite high and creativity is being highly
appreciated by the people (Panayotou 2016). In that case, it can be said that
socio cultural risk of Wiser company is low as it designs creative and
innovative houses that can help to grab large numbers of customers’
attention.
Technological Technological contribution of the country is quite impressive that can bring
various opportunities in the market (Lichten et al. 2015). Therefore, it can be
said that using the technological advancement, marketing as well as
innovation can be introduced by Wiser company.
Legal The employment standard regulation as well as customer safety rules are
being strictly followed by the UK government (Karran 2016). In that case, the
trade regulations in this country can be beneficial for the company.

Inbound logistics: Product distribution, receiving of the orders and construction material
handling activities are being managed by Wiser.
Operation: Operation department of Wiser manages machining, packaging, assembling of

by this department.

grabbing large numbers of customer attention.

developing the creative websites, the company aims to maintain the transparency with its

Conclusion
In this study, depending on the current situational analysis, it has been identified that the
company namely wiser is a small creative home manufacturing company, which has growing in
the fastest manner. Analyzing the internal situation in the workplace, it has been identified that
the company aims to maintain effective employee collaboration in the workplace for improving
the organizational culture. However, it is true that increasing market competitiveness and
changing demands of the customers, it has become tough for the company to provide standard
quality of products within reasonable ranges has become major concern for the company for
sustaining in the market for coming 5 years. In that case, the study has suggested to improve the
supply chain process and improve the transparency with the customers for maintaining sustaining
in the competitive business environment.
