important in easy access of several operational activities. Such modern equipments helps in

terms of small business organisation, modern technologies are beneficial in several activities
such as production, performance evaluation etc. This report is about NISA which is an
independent retailer in UK. There are certain benefits that this firm can avail by adopting
digitalization in their business activities. This helps in bringing growth and innovation in firm. It

manner. To gather more understanding about this topic, data and information is to be collected

business environment is not very much friendly with old and redundant techniques that is why, it
is required to adopt digitalisation process to maintain growth and innovation. This assists in
smooth run of business activities. It is an important concept in order to improve quality of
operations that are performed by an small enterprise (Dezdar and Ainin, 2011). To attract more
consumers company has to use unique and effective marketing strategies. This is possible with
modern technologies to promote these goods and services to cover large segment of buyers. All
these benefits improves financial stability of firm which is most important concept for ensuring
long term development and survival of entity. Such technologies also assists in maintaining
proper record of employees by using several software. This innovation is beneficial in evaluating
and monitoring their performance in adequate manner.

deal with demands of consumers by ensuring adequate delivery of goods and services. This
process is very useful to make production activity efficient and producing good quality products.
It is an beneficial concept that facilitates consumer loyalty by providing them commodities on
adequate time. This leads to positive brand image in market place as buyers will be satisfied with
functions of company.

Objectives-

Research questions- After setting these aims and objectives, there are several questions that are

As the questions has been identified on the basis of the basis of aims and objectives of

P2 Project management plan
Project management plan is very important for implementing all the activities and process
of this program in effective manner (Eid and El-Gohary, 2013). This ensures successful
completion of aims and objectives that are to be attained through this task. It consists factors like
scope, cost, quality, risk, time etc. involved in whole process. NISA wants to grow its market
share with maximum number of consumers and profitability. Digitalisation has huge scope in
this scenario so, it is required to form proper management plan for this company for successful
completion of this project. These essential components are described below-
Scope- This is most important concept that is to be considered in management plan. It is
related with opportunities available in market that could be grabbed by this firm in order to adopt

digitalization. As NISA is an retail store so it has huge scope in online market. This can provide
its goods and services through internet (Fitzgerald and et.al., 2014.). This helps in covering large
consumer segment in less time that will improve profitability of this enterprise.
Risk- These are related with uncertain factors that could arise during project. These
components affects the process in negative manner, so it is required to identify these risks before
starting project. This management plan includes formulating strategies to deal with such issues in
order to minimize the impact of such risks. This will help in successful completion of task.
Quality- Another important component included in this plan is maintaining quality of
project. It is required to manage the processes and activities in such a manner that it will give

Time- There should be proper time management in order to complete the project on
adequate time. This management planning assists in determining all the activities in advance.
Along with that, it consists making schedules to specify the serial in which different tasks will
takes place. There is proper time given for every work in this plan that assists the employees to
know in what time limit they have to complete given tasks. For example, this project has beeb
allotted 25 days.

plan. This is concerned with interaction with employees and other stakeholders. It is required to

NISA so it is very essential to generate best possible outcomes that will help this firm in

profitability. They are adopting process of digitalisation for making their business operations
more effective. There are several recommendations for this firm that will assist in adopting
modern equipments-
 It has been identified through this research that, there are several modern technologies
that could help this company in developing its business. It is recommended that, they
will develop attractive and easy accessible website for the purpose of online selling. This

There are numerous problems that I have faced during this project. It is required that
researcher should actively deal with all such issues in effective manner. This assists in preparing
more effective and efficient report with accurate outcomes. During the process of this project
there were several problems related with cost, that is due to lack of some resources. In my

opinion, it is required to have adequate budget so that there will be less problems related with
availability of funds. I have faced problems related with data collection as there are various
modes for this but it is very difficult to choose appropriate one. Apart from all these issues I have
managed everything in proper manner. I have used questionnaire to get opinion and feedbacks
from employees about usage of digital technology in operational activities of business. This
helped me a lot in generating fair result.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report it can be concluded that, digitalisation plays an
significant role in fostering growth and survival of an business. It is required to adopt modern
techniques in activities of company in order to make them more effective. Research is an
appropriate tool to analyse the effect of such technologies on small enterprises. This assignment
