INTRODUCTION
Digitalisation is growing fast in the modern businesses as it refers to conversion of
analogue informations in various form such as text, photographs and voices into digital form
with technologies or suitable devices including scanner and specialised computer chip for the
purpose of processing, storing and transmitting by using digital circuits, equipment and networks
with sin the firm. It is an essential to achieve competitive advantages in digital world. Digital
technology is very important for a business organisation that helps to attain their business goals
and objectives in effective manner (Zott, Amit and Massa, 2011). Through this process a small
scale organisation can easily attain higher growth and desired outcomes easily. This project
report is based on 4COM Which is a small scale organisation and want to attain digital
technology for getting higher business growth and business advantages easily. This report
includes aim and objectives, Project management plan, work break breakdown structure and
Gantt chart representation to understand its valuation. It also includes small scale research,
appropriate representation for data and analysis through various tools and techniques. At last it
includes Recommendation and self reflection for this project plan.

P1 Devise aims and objectives for project
Digitalisation has various impact on a business organisation that used to provides
effective growth and desired outcomes to them easily. For 4COM it is required need to adopt
digital technology improve quality of their products and services easily. Through this digital
technology they can attract more customers toward their effective services. Advance technology
is not only helping to build quality of products but also manage different activities as accounting,
marketing, research, manufacturing and communication activities as well. For them it is also
required to implement all these activities in their planing and strategic process. This activity
requires a appropriate research that consider what are needs of digital technology and its future
impact on firm (Teece, 2010). For a small scale organisation it is hard to implement advance
technology in their business procedure because it has vast procedure that needs experienced
employees who can utilize it easily without any conflicts and barriers. This process required cost
management procedure and trained staff as well. There are different aim and objective of this
project are given below

Background of this Project: This project report is based on digital technology that 4COM wants
to attain in their operational and functional activities. Digitalisation is a used to provides
effective growth and productivity in business to attain their objectives easily. After adopting this
technology 4COM will grab desired growth and appropriate valuation of their products and
services (Stokes, 2010). Through this process organisation can easily build their own image and
goodwill in market to attain competitive advantages effectively. Main objective of this technique
for organisation is to renew their existing products quality and services to provide higher
satisfaction to customers.
Research Aims: To determine effects and impact of digitalisation on the development of 4COM.
Research Objectives: There are respective objectives of 4COM are given below as -
To analyse effect and impact of digital technology on organisation growth.
To attaining business objectives and future goals easily.
To analyse whether digital technology will helping to attain long terms benefits and
growth. To analyse benefit and disadvantages of advance technology for different business
activities.

P2 Creation of project management plan
Project management methodology is used for data collection which provide a platform
for attaining organisation objectives and goals and making working environment more healthy
and suitable (Porter, 2011). This approach is adopt and implement by 4COM for examine and
analyse company's strategies, policies, products and services which directly or indirectly

connects with its customers and employees. Through this techniques, company's want to enhance
its productivity and performances and find out bugs which are present in their existing
strategies , products and services. So that they can improve more customers satisfaction and
enhance employees retention rate within their organisation. There are various elements which are
discussed below-
Cost: In today's competitive marketplace, cost is most important factor for any
organisation to compete with its rivalry's as well as maintain and enhance its customer
satisfaction level. 4COM has to adopt and implement latest innovation in technology and
equipments for reducing its cost of products and services which ultimately impact on company's
future financial as well as sales growth and customer satisfaction level.
Scope: Their is enormous scope in market as well as within company for adopting new
innovation in technology equipments. By applying and implementing new innovation within
their company, working style of employees as well as customer perception towards firm will
change in a positive manner which helps in company future growth.
Time: In today's high tech modern world, company can easily save its time and capital
fund by using innovation within company and make modification within their existing strategies
and equipments. Which give positive attitudes and creates fruitful environment for working
employees within organisation (Peppard, 2016).
Quality: For customers, quality of products and services is most important factor than
price. 4COM has to maintain its quality and also improve its existing products and services by
using modern innovation and technologies. Which helps in organisation productivity and
performance.
Communication: This is most essential and crucial tool within organisation for working
effectively and efficiently. This tool helps in builds working environment in a more healthy and
fruitful by creating an platform of solving conflicts and concerned of employees regarding
products and services as well as company's policies and strategies. Communication between
employers or higher management authority as well as ground level employees or working force
always builds motivation level among employees and its platform through which workforce is
able to knew about new methodologies and processes. This approach impact positively on
4COM productivity and performance which indirectly affect company's financial and market
growth which promote employees and employers towards their roles and responsibility.

Risk: Before adopting and implementing any new innovation, methodology in strategy,
policy as well as product and service within 4COM, all employees will knew priorly about each
and every new methodology and innovation which is implement within organisation. Because if
employees are not known about new innovation and strategies then these new strategies will
impact negatively rather than positively and it reduce company's performances and productivities
which badly impact on market values of organisation (Laudon and Laudon2, 016).
Resources: natural or man-made resources are key elements of organisation for
achieving desirable goals which helps in enhancing productivity and improving performances of
employees.
P3 Work break down structure and Gantt chart
Work break down structure is an activity done in company for dividing work which help in
reducing work load of employees. This is kind of hierarchical tree structure that frame entire
project and then divide it into the group as per skills and knowledge of members of that team.
With this process leader and manager of organisation easily divide task between employees so
that, project will complete on time with minimum uses of resources. Main purpose of applying
work break down structure in organisation is to easily achieve large project and can be
manageable as well as employees also get comfortable atmosphere to work in it. In some
difficult task when this process is applied it also help in accomplishment of the same with the
high productivity and on time work done in proper manner. This is mainly presented in graphical
form for managing all business activities, task, project in proper manner.
In 4COM this process is applied so that employees don't feel extra pressure of work load
and this is implemented in from top level to middle level. For this various methods are
implemented in company for evaluating employees skills, knowledge, capability and abilities to
divide several task. The same structure assist in reducing extra cost which occur in production or
other activity, time factor is important and project requires work to be done on time instead of
this extra efforts of personnel for a particular task. As per the expertise area of employees work
are assigned to them. This is important for every kind of firm to identifies qualities and
effectiveness of employees working with them and this is the work of human resource
department. This process motive and encourage personnels when they as per work break down
structure. 4COM is an small scale business for them this process is beneficial and essential
because it divide work of staff as well as bring many opportunities for company.

help in reducing extra cost which occur by extra time consumption while production or other
activities. This is a sub part of project management which is used to control extra not necessary
activities and large task which require divination and on time completion. In this chart each
activity is represented by bar; length and position of bars shows start date of project, duration
and closing date of the task.
4COM apply this strategies for bringing effectiveness in their project as well as quality of
the same. This help them in saving resources as well as time which improve productivity of
company and help in generating revenue.

from customers. Data collected from this is represented in graphical form because this is based
on statistical form. Although for this, quantitative research there is requirement of proper team
who can analyse effective data in proper manner. This data in time consuming and hard to
manage in appropriate manner for getting proper result which is required to meeting day to day
working activities. Instead of this, it gives data for long time period and huge in quantity in the
form of mathematical and statistical. Quantitative research take long time for desirable results
from targeted customers and market.
Primary data- this kind of data is totally based on fresh and new research which is
conducted by researcher team of company. This is first hand data there is no requirement of third
party for collecting data person of research team directly contact with the targeted customers.
After collecting this data company can easily modify their products and services as per need and
demand of customers or for the requirement of current market. When company directly contact
with customers they can easily take feedbacks of their existing product and services in market or

decided sample interview, feedbacks, needs and wants many more. From this researcher get both

products and services provided by them. If company implement this then they are capable to
provide good quality of products and effective services. This entire process help in attracting
customers as well as also in satisfying them. Digitalisation is beneficial for company in
enhancing productivity of organisation as well as employees working with them and also in
maximisation of profit. This helps company in many ways if properly implemented so, 4COM
have to take care of its implementation. Uses of everything should be in effective manner same
digitalisation also to be used in same way for this some recommendation are given below:-
For using of new things there is requirement of skills and knowledge in employees

company which help in increasing productivity as well as in attracting customers. This process is
beneficial when it is implemented in appropriate manner in company. I will organise training and
development program for enhancing skills and knowledge of employees so that they can work
properly on new technologies implemented in organisation. I an recommending 4COM to use
digitalisation and latest technologies in their company so that they can create brand image in
market as well as in the eyes of customers. Latest technologies help in saving time and
improving productivity as well as minimum uses of available resources and funds.

From above mention report it has been concluded that digitalisation help company in
many ways such as improving brand image and also in increasing productivity. It also help in
attracting customers and satisfying them. This assignment is based on 4COM company which is
