INTRODUCTION
Psychology for Health and Social Care is mainly associated with the analysis that how
the biological, psychological and social factors leads affect on health and illness of an individual.
The current assignment is based on the reflection on the learning gained from the first task based
on an academic easy which comprises of detailed analysis and implication of two lifespans
psychological theories (Piaget’s and Erikson’s)to the infancy life stage. This part of assignment
comprises of a discussion about the reflection in selected psychological theories along with role
as a health care professional in applying the learnt psychological tighter applying current earning
to health and social care practice.
Main Body
Study and implication of Psychology for Health and Social Care lead to better engagement
and promotion of maintenance of better health care related behaviour which are directed towards
prevention and better treatment of illness and aim at leading improvement in health care system.
The current part of assignment is based on reflection writing in the learning gained by me
through performing and leading out an academic essay based on two vital behavioural
psychology theory comprises of Piaget’s and Erikson’ at the first stage of life, infancy (0-2
years). To ensure better and a systematic reflection, application of Kolb's reflective model is
made by me to ensure a much more systematic and clear presentation of reflection and analysis
of learning undertaken by me. The four stages of Kolb's reflective model which comprise of
Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation of the New Experience, Abstract Conceptualization
and Active Experimentation are discussed under following sub headings of current assignment.
Reflection on psychological theories and researches presented for completing task 1
The task 1 of current assignment is based on analysis of two lifespans psychological
theories along with discussion about the human cognition, emotions, and behaviour patterns
specific to the identified life-stage of infancy is provided below through making use of first two
stages of Kolb's reflective model.
Concrete Experience- The experience on which the reflection is provided under current
assignment comprises of detailed discussion of on the behavioural psychology theories
comprises of applying two essential theories, Piaget’s and Erikson’s in the first stage of life,
infancy (0-2 years). Beside this, under the writing of the academic essay a discussion about the
