INTRODUCTION
The term marketing is explained as a set of activity and institutions which processes
towards formulation of creating, delivering, exchanging and communicating all information
related with product and services in order to deliver better value to customers. The term
marketing also engaged all stakeholders of business to perform research activities in an
organised manner. In simple terms, marketing works as a function that generate link between
marketer and customer. The selected organisation for this report is ASDA which perform their
business in retail sector and it is also induced effective marketing practices for managing
organisation operation in different regions (Haydock and Smith, 2019). Moreover, this report
highlights on processes and stages of marketing. Also, Role of marketing mix will also be
covered in this report to improve overall knowledge related with marketing.

Marketing processes is explained as a series of steps which permit an organisation for
identify of all customers problems, monitoring of market opportunities and formulation of
marketing materials to perform work according to target audience. In simple terms, marketing
process is arranges of all resources that aids ASDA to complete their work according to decided
strategy like, to attract more number of customers. With understand of current market scenario,
this is identified that ASDA management is focused to perform work by engage of various
factors and it include strategic marketing analysis, marketing mix-planning, marketing control
and induce of marketing control activities. This aid respective organisation to perform their work
in an organised manner and it helps management to formulate appropriate process that helps to
improve sale of products in market (Hutchinson and et. al., 2015). It determine an organised
process helps management to satisfy customer needs and wants with more efficiency by
understanding current market and buyer requirements.
