Executive Summary
Educational sector is facing a number of challenges in the current scenario ranging from a
reduction in the quality of faculties to the rigidity of several college programs. Students receive
very less options when contemplating subjects for which they have a natural aptitude. Especially
in the field of higher education the institutes are unaware as to the course of action that must be
undertaken to lure new students and retain existing students. The factors affecting the quality of
education have been compiled in this study. The study strives to establish the actions that the
institute must take in order to gain a strong image in the market. How the success of marketing
objectives should be measured has been outlined. Also a budget and estimate has been prepared
for the activities. What the institute should do in order to meet the contemporary demands of the
job market has been clearly stated in the study pertaining to marketing mix and objectives.

3MARKETING OBJECTIVES
Introduction
Education is a major issue right now. This issue encompasses all the nations over the world
including Australia. There has been a gradual decline in the standards of education and the lack
of awareness among higher authorities. They have very little idea how to combat the situation.
Surveys conducted internationally depict that students are severely lagging behind in the cases of
scientific literacy, mathematics and reading abilities. The importance of technology, science,
mathematics and engineering skills have been acknowledged by various businesses and
industries. Students showing a steady decline in these subjects affect their ability to gain proper
jobs in the industry after completing education. The society is facing an imminent and looming
threat in the lack of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce in the future. The education system
should take appropriate steps to address this potential threat. Methods should be adopted to
match the international standards of education. Quality faculty must be recruited to tackle this
issue and enhance the standards of education.
Five Factors on influencing the delivery and quality of higher education
Stability, finances and career are the major reasons for students opting for higher education.
Technical schools, universities and colleges where students can enlist for degree programs,
associate degrees and diplomas are institutions of higher education. The quality of higher
education is dependent upon several factors which are as discussed below.
Variety of the program – This is a factor which intrinsically influences higher education. The
institutions are currently following specific career paths instead of infusing program variety. This
rigid outlook is creating an issue since students are bound to take up certain subjects which may
not match with their particular aptitude. Institutions having several programs have a large
number of students. It, therefore, has class sizes which have a large number of students (Larsson
& Hultqvist, 2018). This influences the level of attention each student receives. Colleges focus
on specific careers has an inclination to be more individualised. This is extremely beneficial for
students who require ample attention to absorb information. Such programs benefit students who
are clear about the particular career path they want to follow. It is, however, harmful to students
who are not sure about their specific career path. The institutions provide very little options and
