Introduction
Business environment refers to all things which are external and
internally present and affects the functionality of business. Internal
environment in business refers to the factors that have direct
impact on operation of business on daily basis while external
environment consists of those factors which are outside but also
affects the functionality of business. Internal environment contains
the various forces such as customers, suppliers, employees,
competitors and shareholders. External factor includes the
technological factors, economic, social or can be demographical
changes. This presentation is based on the evaluation of internal
and external factors affecting the operation within the business
organisation. Marks and Spencer's is chosen organisation in this
presentation and includes the PESTLE and SWOT Analyses in
organisational context with their impacts. Marks and Spencer's is
British multinational retailer company with headquarters in
London, England, UK. Company was founded in year 1884
through Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer. Company has
diversified products like in clothing, home decors, beauty and food
outlets world wide.

PESTLE Analyses - This frameworks used to evaluate the impact
of external forces of business environment. This method has been
used by Marks and Spencer's in order to implement plan to minimise
the risk involved in environmental changes. Some factors involved in
this analyses has been explained below -
Political factors – This force evaluates the impact of government
policies on business environment. This force includes the tax policies,
trade barriers and laws related to employees and labour. Marks and
spencer have sound trade policies with in the economy which ensures
the proper function in business with rules and regulation.
Economical factors – Every business operates or depends upon the
economic factor of the country. Inflation rates, living standard of
people, inequality are major terms included in economical factors.
Marks and Spencer's have diversified products according to the life
style of the customers and their buying behaviours.
Social factors – In this force of PESTLE analyses includes the
cultural trends, social and personal changes in market. Marks and
Spencer's has to deal with these factors in more efficient way to
overcome the threat of competition in global market.
Technological Factors – This force of external environment includes
the technological advancement in the field of business organisation.
Marks and Spencer's has already announced their advancement in
software program that delivers the diversified online experience to
explore.
Legal Factors – Every country has its own legislations and trade
restrictions and changes over a certain period of time. Marks and
Spencer's should analyse the legal factors before expanding their
business in other countries.
Environmental Factors – This last force of PESTLE analyses refers
to the environment factors such as climate change, global warming
and water pollution. Marks and Spencer's have many strategies that
works on minimising the wastage produced by company and utilise
the available resources in effective manner.

Environment
All the above discussed internal as well as external factors had some impact
on the operation of business environment. Organisation also have some sort
of factors which influence the external factors as well. Marks and Spencer
can affect the environment through its products and services. Some factors
has been discussed below -
Organizational culture – Marks and Spencer's organizational culture also
affects its environment. It includes the factors like values, expectations and
practice to guide team members in company.
Workplace environment – This factors is related to the working culture in
Marks and Spencer's. It reflects the day to day operation held in
organisation and how these affects the business environment. This includes
the rules and regulation and strictness followed by employees with in the
organisation.
SWOT Analyses This analyses refers to the technique
used by management to identify organisations strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats available in market
(Hamilton and Webster, 2018). This technique has been used in
planning the future strategies and to identify the growth
