CLIENT PROFILE
The client is a working professional and is busy in her 8 hours of job. She has to
walk around most of the time and this means that there is a medium level of
physical activity. The level of stress at her workplace is high and she is trying to
have a healthy lifestyle. In order to do so, she tries to go to the park for a walk.
She is not on any kind of medication and does not have any health issues. She
goes to the gym occasionally and also drinks a lot of water everyday.
TREATMENT PLAN
The treatment plan is to give the client a massage of different body parts
including leg and back. The client has requested to apply low to medium
pressure on all her body. I have ensured that the massage is given to the client
based on her current position of the muscles. The client wanted to relax and
reduce the tension in her muscles because of the daily levels of stress. Thus, the
massage will help the client in enhancing the movement of her muscles and help
her in performing her job effectively.
TREATMENT
LEFT POSTERIOR LEG
In order to give massage to the left posterior leg, I started off with wrapping the
fingers around the client’s ankle. I gradually worked my way up to the posterior
part of the left leg and continued with gentle pressure with the help of my
fingers. Enough pressure was applied without causing any pain to the muscles. A
little stretching was also done in order to release any kind of pain in the leg. I has
started the massage normally with 3 effleurages to the whole leg and after that 3
