This is a very useful post and will help in understanding the role that is played by systems
thinking approach in order to find the solutions to the problem. As per my perception the
knowledge about systems thinking will be very useful for understanding the different kinds of
problems that are arising in the organization. Thus the CATWOE and the Rich Picture tools will
be very useful for analyzing and also finding out the right solution for understanding the present
situation. The AMP Bank Limited has been successful in showing their current issue via the
CATWOE systems thinking tool and also finding out the right kind of solution for the problem.
However the stakeholders have to be properly involved in the entire decision making process so
that all of them get to know about the benefits of the changes that are being incorporated
(Coghlan, 2019).
Though the systems thinking approach will be helpful, proper feedback system must be
developed so that they are able to take the opinions or feedbacks from customers. Customers
must be involved in a two way horizontal communication system (www.amp.com.au. 2019). As
per my perception the Rich Picture concept must be used in a more prominent way so that they
can share all their doubts, opinions, views and also other new ideas (Haines, 2016). While
formulating any such new ideas or change measures they have to involve all the other employees
so that they can give in all their useful tips and ideas. Thus the managers have to make sure that
they are analyzing the future hurdles and then find out the solution for the same.
