This study focuses on the importance and benefits of using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in the supply chain and logistics of the grocery industry in the UK. It discusses the advantages of RFID in reducing delivery time and errors, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing inventory management. It also highlights the limitations of RFID, such as implementation costs and potential job losses. The study further explores how retailers can leverage RFID to gain a competitive advantage in the market. The research methodology includes quantitative data collection through questionnaires and the analysis of primary data. The sample consists of 30 managers from Tesco, a leading grocery retailer in the UK.
