The Annual sale of the company is estimated to be around CAD$ 9.5 million. (McCain, 2019). In this report, the major things that will be included are SWOT analysis of McCain. SWOT Analysis According to the research done before, the Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and the Threats are mentioned before. High Level of Customer Satisfaction- As the consumers love the products produced by the company, McCain can expand their business in order to obtain more satisfied and trusted customers. This way the company will earn more profit and sales will also increase. As theCash flow is strong, the resources are provided to the company in hand(McCain, 2019).
McCain’s isnot very popular among the large food producing firms. It is only famous in the small food producing firms. So, for gaining popularity in the larger firms, McCain should expand its business. This can be done with merging from different organization for a couple of time (McCain, 2019). Special plans and strategies should be initiated in order to increasecompany’s profitability ratios and net percentage contribution which is below the company’s average. McCain should ask for public reviews and also should prepare new products or improvise the new products which are there in the market. McCain is expanding its business for more customers. McCain should start producing new products for the market. Startingthe online deliverywill help McCain expanding its business and the customers. People now prefer online shopping rather than roaming from stores to stores. Online delivery of the products will be beneficial in the expansion of the business(McCain, 2019). McCain has only 21,000 employees. Operating in 160 countries with only 21,000 employees is difficult. Therefore, it is important for the company to hire more employees for the business expansion.McCain should not only stick to only potato products. New flavors should be included. Customer’s tastes and preferences changes from time-to-time, therefore it is important to work according to the likes and dislikes of the consumers(McCain, 2019). Environmental Constraints McCain’ specific environment relates to the customers, suppliers, competition and the Pressure groups. The customers are satisfied with the services that McCain is providing. The customers like the concept of the readymade food items and are implementing them as well. As the likes and dislikes of the customer changes, McCain should implement those possible changes as well.

Also, the customers now prefer online delivery. McCain should make sure that they provide their products online. This will help in the expansion of the business. The resources like the ingredients and the spices are provided in hand. This clearly states that the suppliers of the company are appreciable. Also, the suppliers make sure that the products are available in the stores on time. As, McCain is popular among the smaller firms therefore, the competition is less as it has to be. Working with larger firms which have huge market scale will help in building the competition. General Environment (PESTEL) PESTELAnalysisherereferstothecompany’sactionsaccordingtothePolitical, Environmental, Social, Technological, Economic and Legal factors of the macro environment. Talking about the political factors, McCain makessure that the company’spoliciesand guidelines work according to the policies made by the government (Gupta, 2013). Environmental factors are those which are made in order to protect the environment. Potatoes are made by the company using eco-friendly environment. As the owners of the company are from the farming background, therefore the production is done without hurting the environment. Social factors mean the study of the population. Products produced by McCain are loved from the toddlers to the old age people (Gupta, 2013). Companies deals and changes its working after analyzing the external behavior. All the policies and strategies are planned according to the external behavior. All the policies and changes done by government related to the economy (Gupta, 2013). The biggest challenge for McCain is to expand its business in the global market. Special plans and strategies should be designed for the expansion. This can merger with some
organization. The merger will provide new resources and instruments which would be beneficial for the company (Gupta, 2013). Shareholders The main shareholders of McCain are the customers, Farmers and innovation. Reviews are taken from the customers in order to improve the services. McCain also provide special training to the farmers who produce raw materials for the firm. Special programmes and training is given to the farmersaboutthenewtechniquestofarmingforbetterresultsandoutput. Also, the environmental safety is taken into action. All the information about the producing of raw materials till the final output along with the members is there on the online portal of the company. The company is totally honest and transparent with the customers (McCain, 2019). Organization Structure and Design Talking about the organizational structure and design, there is a hierarchy of the company. McCain works according to the hierarchy. Also, there are special team leaders that supervise the making of the product and report the issues and problems to the managers. The hierarchy is as following-
Motivating Employees There may be a situation, where the employees are not satisfied with the job. The main theory which would be able to satisfy and motivate the employees is the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. In the Maslow’s theory, there is a hierarchy of needs that an employee needs for the satisfaction. The needs are psychological needs (food, security, shelter and water), safety and security (income, salary, financial support), belongingness and love (friends and loved ones), esteem (status, promotions, appreciation) and self-actualization (potential skills and abilities). (Reisen and Stam, 2016). Recommendations The recommendations which I will prefer are to expand the business in the global market for the better working. Also, more employees should be hired. Working in 160 countries with just 21,000 employees is not enough. This way McCain will not be able to know what the consumers are demanding. Also, continuous appreciation should be given to the employees to keep them motivated. PresidentandCEO

Controls and Feedbacks Feedback Controls will be strategy I will use to monitor activities. Feedback control is a strategy to see whether a goal decided is achieved or not. Therefore, if McCain has decided to increase the employees and the customer, it should see whether all the plans and strategies are made for the decision. Continuous feedbacks from the customers and employees will be taken for the improvement.
