Improving Communication Strategies at Apple

This presentation discusses the communication strategies adopted by Apple and suggests ways to improve communication within the organization. 3.1
Communication is a significant part of business performance and growth
within an organization. It helps the companies in creating a well-
defined impact on business development within the competitive
market.
Apple has adopted a definite and significant communication structure
within the company which has helped the business in ensuring growth
within the market.
The company ensures top- down communication for strategic
improvement and Bottom up approach to evaluate employee’s needs
and demands.

The communication process adopted in Apple include:
Written communication: This communication styles is used for formal
communication aspects. Communication tools such as letter, emails,
reports Memes etc. are adopted for the same. This communication
measure is very useful for managing a record of conversations for
further references.
Verbal communication: These communication are important as they are
used for formal and informal communication. Strategies such as
meetings, conferences, seminars, group discussions etc are used as
formal tools in the regards. However Informal measures include
informal get together parties, coaching, counselling etc.
Technological communication: Technological resources such as
telephones, emails, video conferencing, mobile etc are he common
communication measures which the companies undertake to attain
business objectives in effective manner. Apple ensures that effective
technological aspects are adopted for the same.

3.2
Apple has the prospect to enhance its communication aspects within the market
and within organization as well. The strategies which the company may
adopt are:
Multiple channel communication: This is one of the most effective and common
means of communication which may help the company in developing high
and significant development aspects within the market. Using multiple
communication channels method will help the business in effectively
integrating its communication aspect within the market.
Horizontal integration: Aligning organizational communication aspects between
different departments helps the organization in creating a high growth impact
on overall business performance.
Coaching and mentoring: This communication measure will help the company
in creating a an effective development aspect on business integration and
growth measure. This will be effective for employee motivation and growth
as well.

3.3
This is in order to recommend some improvised measures to Apple
in order to adopt some more progressive means of
communication at their workplace. With reference to which,
they can hereby refer to adopt a centralised approach of
preserving the data with an ease of access to the authorised set
of users. It is with another perspective of continual monitoring
approaches that should be adopted by them in order to prevent
any unsuthorised usage of protected data.

3.4
This section is with a major concern of improving my existent
skills of communication by conducting a personal SWOT
analysis and setting SMART objectives for the same. It is with a
fundamental sense of working as per my newer designation of
assistant customer service manager.
Hence, with a similar reference to it, below is the carried SWOT
analysis that will determine the four leading constituents
mentioned as-
 Strengths- It is a foremost component so as to depict my
potent factors that states about my effective leadership skills
where I can make quick decisions to resolve any exigent work
related issues.
 Weaknessess- It is however a detrimental element that hinders
me in numerous ways where I am unable to manage my work
as per the stipulated time period that further delay my work
submissions.

 Opportunities- A vital opportunity for me is to acquire
significant cognition in regard to acknowledge the changing
context of work where I am hereby required to acknowledge
the altering market trends.
 Threats- This is an eventual measure of this model in which I
am together required to foresee any upcoming risk at the
workplace where the new comers with more updated
knowledge is one of the biggest threat for me.

SMART objectives is yet another assistive model with its five
pivotal constituents that could largely aid me in a prime
attainment of my goal where I am referring to improve my
communication skills.
These components are specific, measurable, acheiveable, realistic
and time bound where this target of mine is representing a
specific context of improvement where the enhanced ratio can
be measured by me after its accomplishment.
Apart from which, it is an acheiveable goal of mine that depicts a
realistic nature of accomplishment and will be attained by me
within a stipulated frame of time.
