conditioning usage. Air conditioning in developed countries increased rapidly in the 20th
century while for developing countries it increased on the 21st century. The developing countries
involves those in humid and hot climates with huge populations like China, India and Brazil
nations. Increased GDP in those countries unlocks the entrance to air conditioning to many
people who affords the system.
The Air conditioning industry has an extensive history on achieving global and national
objectives through technology advancement and international cooperation. Manufacturers have
transitioned using Montreal Protocol from substances that depletes ozone to substances with
higher performance and efficiency at a cheaper costs. HFC refrigerants are substituting CFC and
HCFC refrigerants as they dominate mostly in developed nations even though HFC has high
