environment where most of the population were reading newspapers, books, novels, magazines.
But now we don not need to seat on a specific place and read books or newspapers etc. now
things has changed now we all have an electronic device through which user can read anywhere

another change in printed media. It gives more ease and flexibility to the reader. Most of the
newspaper company, offer both offline and online newspaper. Online is the kind of substitute of
print papers (VanHoorn and et.al, 2014).
On the basis of above conclusions it was concluded that, now in current time, printed
books are less valuable as compare to e-books. Because of new advanced technologies and
creativity given by industries. It is confirmed that in future times, no one wants to carry books or
magazines or newspaper. Readers will carry one smart device in which they going to read every
thing which is required. Media and creative industries have responsibility to innovate new
services or product for the users. It helps to grow the economy and development growth.
Through which they developed the standard of living and provide high tech knowledge. And
expansion terms to the users. On the other side it has both positive and negative impacts. Overall
e-books is the new version of printed books, but as per the growing times it was concluded that
scope of printed book is less than digital books (Dinnie, 2015). It provides better features and
advanced techniques. As per the development perspective industries needs to adopt some new
expansion features. In every sector electronic device has change the scenario of everywhere. It
gives new expansion policies and growth for future development. Like innovation of e-books is
includes some advanced designs of iPad, kindle fire, Nook colour, it is the smart version of
printed books. It supports highly interactive and multimedia experiences. As per the survey

students e-book is much better to learn new techniques. For small children there have some story
e-books, rhymes and many more. On the other side it gives new ideas and new ways of
learnings. With the help of electronic learning people going to learn new things and which helps
to enhance the skills and knowledge. But on the other side some people still preferred to rad with
printed books because e-books would give health issues sometimes or may it give stress on
human minds (Gilbert and Fister, 2015). Along with that some authors would suggest that
printed learning is more effective and useful rather than online learning. Some old persons and
for those who doesn't have knowledge of online feature they preferred to take offline books. As
per the reviews people is not feel convenient to read, they don't like to sit in front of computer
for an hour just to read the book. It may arise health issues. Like headache, muscular pain etc.
furthermore, it will give some negative impact on the minds of children, so that most of the

parents wants that their child will learn from printed books. Besides, on the other side advantages
of e-books is that they reduce low updated cost. Besides, it gives new multimedia features and
technologies to provide flexibility in nature, it contains some new unique features like, pictures,
images, audio, video matter which helps reader to interact in more proper way. In printed books
reader will get bore to read only theory and theory but in terms of e-books. They give much
better advanced features to the users. Like they also provide some exciting links which is related
to the existing ones so that reader can easily find their next book or chapter. Overall e-book is the
latest tool of printed books (Zhang and Kudva, 2014). Along with that it also helps to make new
changes and get new opportunities for digital expansion. E-books provides plenty of features as
compare to printed books. So definitely people get engaged towards e-books rather than printed
books. Digital learning reduce the scope of printed books, as per the rapid changes in digital
technologies, they easily vanish the existence of printed books.
On the basis of above discussion, media and creative industries need to adopt some more
new advanced services and techniques to maintain its stability. On the other side it also faces
many challenges and risk in order to adopt technologies. Like media and creative industries have
facing the challenges of new rapid changes, competitions, new demands, costs, political changes,
globalisation changes etc (Keane and Donald, 2014). due to these changes' industry may facing
the new challenges. Online techniques also involved the risk of piracy, may be some hackers
hack the system and make wrong changes in the content. This may create risk of uncertain
events. Overall e-books have wide scope as compare to printed books. They both have their own
pros and cons. To develop in more positive ways media and creative industries should adopt
some new methods of technologies to maintain its stability in terms of development. E-book is
the most effective ways of development in printed media. It gives new features and new
opportunity growth to make printed books into books (Alhammad and Ku, 2016). This mass
communication industry has wide scope of development and they also give innovative services
for expansion.
